alright, i know it's been awhile since i've been here but i need some major help. well, it's not MY computer, but it's my sister's computer and it wont even turn on. i SWEAR it was working earlier that day, but now it just wont turn on. it's not like the button wont work but here's what i see when i turn it on

i don't even know what any of that means! lolss have any of you all encountered this problem? there's nothing in the cd drives or anything like that and when i press ctrl+alt+del it just comes right back to that screen. i just don't understand. it was working like an hour before that. some help would be appreciated. ;D

The system encountered an error while trying to load the operating system from the appropriate disk (CD or hard drive). There might be a problem with the disk.

hmm there's no disk in there. there's not any floppy disks or anything in there.

Right, which means there could be a problem with the hard drive itself.

umm, have you tried going into CMOS and rearranging the boot sequence to hard drive first? and completely remove the cdrom/dvdrom drive from the list?
