Full Version: I don't think she likes me anymore.

As you may know I started dating the most amazing girl ever, like about a month ago. It's been great so far. No arguments, never anything bad. Usually she's mean to me, but it's not a bad mean. It's just a way she shows her affection. It's been a great relationship. I've been seeing her 3 days out of a 7 day week. Which is fine for me. Not too much. Not too little.

The situation is, I haven't seen her in about two weeks. I don't think she wants to see me either. She keeps being mean to me. Not the cute mean, because usually it would be followed by "I'm just kidding". She told me I was stupid and what not. I asked her if I could see her this weekend and she said not Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I asked her about Sunday and she said something about the church picnic which is reasonable. Get this though:

She said I couldn't see her on Saturday because she was tanning...is that not the most ridiculous thing you have ever heard of? I thought it was pretty ridiculous and jokingly, I told her she was silly. Then she started saying I was stupid. Then I asked her why she was being so mean and she told me not to say anything more. So surely, I didn't. I'm so confused.

Could it be that she doesn't like me anymore?

Maybe. But it could mean she needs a break or she`s in a bad mood.Give her some space..and then try to talk to her again.

^ I agree. I don't think you should make any assumptions yet. Just give it some time and if this continues, then confront her about it. Don't let her avoid the subject. Good luck!

don't jump to conclusions yet
have a talk with her and ask her what's going on
mipadi
Ask her. Relationships are all about communication.

Hey, relationships are built on talking and communication. If you can'd comfortable do that, you might as well call it quits.

didnt you post something about her not going to any of your games? i ono but i think your girlfriend has serious attitude issues that she has to work with.. talk to her and if she dont listen then most likely things wont change much i dont think your that in love with each other if your only been dating a month..

yeah thats true. it just seems that if he were to talk to her, she wouldnt just open up and say everything thats caused her to change. i dunno. just seems like that would be too easy. when i had this problem it wasnt with my girlfriend, just a girl friend. she suddenly stopped talking to me and said it was cuz she was always busy now and "things change" and she'd get annoyed if i kept asking "how" and "why". it just seems like something this girl would do too.

but yeah, give her time, and if you cant communicate well, just call it quits like mipadi said. thats what i did, and now me and her are still friends, just not as close as we used to be. it sucks losing relationships, with friends and girlfriends alike, but i'm over it now. perhaps i'll just give her space now, and hope we can become close again in the near future.

but yeah, good luck

My Reponse:

Why do you want to go out w/ her if she's mean to you? Personally, I would want to date somebody who respects me not who disrespects. Her excuses are lame.
As someone said: Maybe she's just in a bad mood.

My Advice:

Communication

Thanks for the support guys. I'll try to talk to her today. She's been acting rather shady with me lately. I don't know though. I guess I'll find out when I talk to her.

I hope.

well bro, tough situation, ive been in that spot myself.

basically it can be one of two things:

1) she just thinks your taking up too much of her own space.

or

2) time tells all. and it might of told her that she doesnt like you as she once did.

Hmm...sounds familar, except the person who 'blocked' me was a girl who I asked out as friends and she said no. She unblocked me after a week and we're ok now..

Best advise is to give her a week, block all contact, and just wait till she comes to you

maybe. or something's just on her mind. why dont you try..just talking on the phone and talk and see if anything is wrong.
Ruler Face
Try and talk to her about it.
Ask her why she's giving you these
lame excuses, can you know
somethings wrong.
Uronacid
listen i don't know whats wrong, but if you feel like shes being a total jerk.

Try this:
-INSTEAD OF GETTING ALL BOTHERED ABOUT IT, BRING IT UP!!!
-BE HONEST BE RESPECTFUL BE TALKIN AND TALK TALK TALK TALK TALK TALK TALK
-TELL HER YOU FEEL LIKE SHE IS TREATING YOU LIKE CRAP!!

either she will work it out with you, or you guys will break up... personally i wouldn't worry becuase she doesn't sound like someone you could spend the rest of your life with anyways... :P

^ I agree with Ada. It sounds like she may need a little space right now. Give it a few days and then try talking to her.
