The future is frozen
In the palm of my hand
It sheds the light of regret
From my disembodied voice
I beseech the remains of wisdom
to guide my blind eyes
My strength wanes as winter passes by
My heart withers like a rose wilting through time
The land barren and frigid
As I await for the soil
To be affluent once more
The whispers of death belittles my existence
As each creature dies of hunger
I lose every fragment of hope I had left
My skin, now as white as snow
Lost the last few shards of meaning
A definition hidden in a a world of forget
The nocturne of nothingness falls upon me
My body emulating the color of death
Doting life to leave me
What have I done to deserve this?
To live in a frozen wasteland
With my days numbered by the world
All I want is an end for this eternal winter

I like it, Yen.
I can relate.
But I guess that's because I've got my own interpretations for the poem. :I

Yen, that's a beautiful (I don't know how it fits, but "beautiful" is quite the right word) poem. A bit sad, but I can sort of relate.
