Anyway, where is this quote from? It's true that if you read the bible it says that 666 is the "number of a man", not the time. It also says that only God himself knows when the time for the apocolypse will come, not even Jesus Christ knows. So I doubt that anyone can guess, and if they claim to know then they are false profits.

hey, who knows. The world could go into an apocolyptic state on that date, but you have to realize that some of the Biblical prophecies have not come to pass yet, and I don't think that they will in six days.

Here's one for instance. The European Union. They all have the same currency and other crap like that. I don't know much about it. But in the Bible there is a prophecy about a New World Order where all nations will be in peace and whatnot. For that to happen in six days is very unlikely. Back in the Medival times they thought the world was going to end in 1666. I honestly think that's more obvious than June 6, 2006. You know? It's just people trying to get other people all hyped up about stuff alot of people don't even believe in. If they actually read it for themselves they would see. But you would have to do backround research because a lot of the Bible is confusing if you just read it for the first time.

Also, people say that the end times are near because of the state the world is in. Crime is up and war is everywhere. There is weather that shouldn't be in some areas. Well, stuff like this happens in cycles. People don't learn from history. It's not like crime was ever higher than it is now. Back in the Biblical times homosexuality was rampant. So, in some areas it was a lot worse hundreds even thousands of years ago.

The Bible tells us that the world will go through 7 years of tribulation and end when you least expect it. I don't think the world will end on June 6th this year because everyone is expecting it.

Anyway, it's supposed to start by an individual leading the world to peace. The process, supposedly, would take 7 years. For 3.5 years, the world will see peace, in which the third temple would be constructed in Jerusalem, but after that point, 'The Beast' will unleash evil, and enslave humanity. By the Christian bible, Jesus would come back at the last possible moment to save humanity.

That's basically the Christian Apocalyptic texts taken seriously.

It will not end on a 6/6/6. It will go by the Jewish calendar, as the number of the Beast is only 666 because that's the number of the Hebrew letters that make it up added together. In the Jewish calendar, there aren't numbers, but letters instead. I suppose, if it ends on a 666, it will end when the letters of the month and day equal 666.

Another theory is that it could be in his social security number or in the near future if we have implant chips. (Like how dogs have them so they won't get lost.) The chips may be used as "seriel numbers" or a kind of "currency".
