It depends on the guy - how close are you? It also depends on however you guys break up. I mean, if it's bitter, he might stay away for a little bit, but eventually, you'll probably become friends again. Don't worry.

Yep. People usually use that phrase tOo much, and nothing happens.

I've been friends with many of my exes, but it all depends how the other takes the break up. My OTHER ex decided to not be friends with me after I told him I wouldn't take him back after breakin up with me. I talk about him a lot throughout this blog, but he's one of the only exes that really mattered. What happens after the break up determines who he really is. If he stays friends with you, he really cares. If he just ginores you and pretends as if you don't exist and never did, he was never worth it and you should be grateful you broke up with him before he can damage you.

well the same happened with me and my ex. after we didnt talk for a few months and avoided each other at church but all of a sudden we started talkin and stuff and we friends now. and last time when i didnt go to church he was like *you didnt go to church! if you dont come next time then i aint gon give u a 7/11 slurpy!* haha. well just sayin tht its possible. might take time but its possible

i think its possible to be friends again, it jus takes time for things to adjust itself cuz u two wont be as close and together as before so ... let time pass and i think u guys will be friends later =)

It depends on what kinda guy he is... And also what was your relationship before you guys got together. If you were friends before that, then he most likely will continue being friends with you, unless the relationship ended really badly.

That's what I thought with my ex. We had been friends long before we went out, but he didn't mind ignoring me. Guess it's cuz after he broke up with me and then, had the nerve to ask me to come back and I said no, that's when he left me as a friend also. hopefully, it'll be different with you.

You might feel weird for a while but you can still be friends.
