the guy i like...the same guy that all my posts have been about...how do i get over him?! i would still like to go out with him next yr but for now...i need to stop obsessing over him andi just cant! iv tried thinking about all the bad things anbout him and its not stopping me...any tips? i still want him to like me next yr tho so i still wanna be flirty with him

Well, why don't you keep saying you will wait for him. That always works for me. Just don't date anyone else and maybe that will work. You know what I mean? Maybe you'll just get sick of waiting around and will want to forget about him.

but why do you want to get over him if you still want to like him next year?

if you want to get over him, just look for other guys.. im sure hes not the HOTTEST thing in the world :)

- Stop making topics
- Block him from your AIM, MSN, etc
- Don't talk about him, don't think about him, keep yourself occupied with other things
- Don't talk TO him. Everything he says will have a much bigger impact because of the situation.
- Hang out with friends and if they bring him up just say, "I've gotten over him."
- Don't make too big of an effort to avoid talking to him, just remember he is not part of your daily life and doesn't deserve to have a spot in your mind all the time.

-delete him from your phonebook, cell, email, aim yahoo [w/e]

I would say..go for another guy.

I just recently got over my ex, and believe me, that was so very difficult. How I got over him was to train myself to look at his pictures and not have a heavy feeling in my heart. Then I wrote a letter to him explaining how I felt about him still and why being apart was a big mistake and all that junk, and I put it aside, because I was able to get all my feelings out. Then, I burned it. Hahaha. Then again, he hurt me badly and that was my strangely psychotic way of getting over him. It might work for you though!

lol, i have sort of the same problem... i'm not 100% aware of your situation or anything, but sometimes it all just comes down to reality. so what i did was made a list of all the things like i could never be with this guy and whatnot. i got to 209 things, but i'd like to share my favorite one:

i'm probably going to have more meaningful times with other people.

so just keep remembering that there are other people out there... another thing i try to do is keep myself occupied with my brother's friends... my older brother has a lot of awesome/cute friends....
of course that wont help unless you have an older brother...

Well, I've been trying to get over 1 guy for over 1 year now, but it's not going to happen. Maybe's the same thing for you?

It's summer! Don't worry about it. Flirt with anyone you want to, let things happen on their own. Don't push it. Just have fun and worry about him when next school year rolls around.

If you're willing to wait for him till next year & if you even think he's worth the wait, then go for it. Don't waste your time on him though. Maybe you can ask him if you 2 would ever be anything? And as for now, just have fun because it's SUMMMMER & many boys will come your way :)

& whatever you do, don't try to keep telling & convincing yourself that you don't like him when you still do. It doesn't work & in the end you'll find yourself liking him even more.
