okay. so i`ve been going out with my bf for three weeks and he`s yet to kiss me. he hasn`t even kissed me on the cheek and i`ve already started to kiss him on the cheek. he`s my first bf and i`m his first gf. it feels like he has no idea what he`s supposed to do. i don`t have any idea what i`m doing either, but it sure feels like i`m trying more then him. he`s only held my hand three times. and it`s not like he doesn`t care; he`s written me a poem and he`s bought me things. i`ve already told him not to waste his money and that all i need is him. i dunno whether to ask him what`s up or what. and it`s like i feel like i`m emotionally pressuring him if i ask for a kiss, yeunno? not to mention i`m gonna feel desperate afterwards. am i taking things too fast? or are things too slow? should i just go for it&kiss him? i seriously dunno what to do. so yeahh. i`ll take any advice you guys give me. =]

it's only been three weeks, give him a little more time, he's probably just not ready to do those things yet.

Kisses will one day appear like magic (poof!) if you just wait a bit. Be patient, he might just be unsure or not ready.

You must be a flamming homosexual. stubborn.gif

Ahem. Anyways...
Don't sweat it. I'm sure he just needs some more time. And, if you have to make the first move, and help him along, that may be for the best. Don't worry, I'm sure everything will settle. Three weeks isn't much time at all. And, if you wait, I'm sure it will just be that much more magical! wink.gif

Just don't f**k it up and bump heads or anything. whistling.gif

He seems very noble and patient when it comes
to the relationship. I have been dating my gal
for about the same amount you've been dating
your boy. The only things I've given her is a
peck on the lips. Nothing more.

Maybe he hasn't kissed you yet because he feels
like he doesn't need to kiss you to prove that he
truly likes you. He's very nice. I respect him for
doing what he's doing.

Don't sweat it though. He will kiss you. Eventually.

wow, dude you are such a prick... the only reason i didn't reply to your post in the debate section is becuase its a big waste of time
lalalaLANUH
Just because he hasn't kissed you yet doesn't mean he doesn't like you. You really should depend on physical contact to decide who's "trying more". Maybe he's just shy. Besides, it's only been three weeks. If you really want that kiss then by all means, go for it. Just take it slow.

This Confession
exactly what i meant in that one forum mellow.gif

also if he hasen't kissed you yet and your asking us why not
why won't you just make the first move?
it doesn't mean he doesn't like you
just means hes as nervous as you are. :]
LiSFORLiNDA
Hehe kissing.
Wouldnt you rather it be a surprised kiss rather then a planned kiss. like - Monday.. me + you = kissing under that tree. Or him look you in the eyes & just kiss you without it being planned

my boyfriend was the same way. there were times when i didn't think he was interested, until one day i went in for a kiss on the cheek and a hug and BOOM it just happened. we took it slow even after that and i really love him for that. he's been patient and respectful and i feel incredibly lucky.

we don't hold hands every waking moment or make out at every chance and i love it because sometimes just a smile and peck is enough to know he cares especially like when you said he wrote you poetry. that's 10 times better than and kiss.

just take it slow and if you want to hold his hand or kiss him, go for his hand or walk him to class or to a place to be alone and just go for it. he's your boyfriend. he's your first boyfriend, even better. don't rush things. just let them happen as you feel its right.

Well it sounds like you have the same problem i had.but mine was a little worse i went out with him for 6 months and he didnt kiss me not even on the check. but maybe he doesnt know if you want him to do that. i think that you should just take your chances and kiss him. becuase if your his first gf then i think he might not know what to do.

((sorry if thats not much help.))

He's probably just shy. Talk (or at least hint) to him that it's okay to be more open with you.
Uronacid
well, i know that i was extremely shy about kissing with my first girlfriend... honestly i had never been in a relationship, so i really didn't think about kissing her... hmmmm.... how many relationships has this guy been in?
Kontroll
Yeah. The last girl I went out with. Never kissed her. It was two months long. Never once. Haha. Ask him for one, he wont mind. It will probably get him to open up because I'm really unsure about those things sometimes. Like, if she is that way or not. You know?
PrincessAda
Three weeks isn`t that long. You should give him time. Some people don`t even start kissing until after months.
