Perhaps it's just curiosity, or maybe I actually am bisexual, but I can't seem to get this out of my head. I'm totally comfortable hugging girls and holding hands, and I've thought about it and don't have a problem with ever being in a relationship with a girl. I've noticed that I've become way over the top when it comes to discussions about homosexuality. I get so defensive and personally hurt when people are immature about gays and lesbians.

Problem? My parents. I've told them about my friend and her girlfriend, and they haven't been very open-minded about it. They aren't against it or anything, but I can always sense the hesitation in their voices when they express their opinions on it. If I do decide that I want to date girls, I don't want them to be weird about it...

I really don't know what to do... I'm so confused.

I hug girls too. That does not necesarily mean that you are bi or anything. Have you ever had a crush on a girl or felt physically attracted? In my opinion, your just openminded.

I don't know why you get personally hurt...i'm not so sure about that though.

for real, i just think that girls in general are more affectionate than guys are. don't worry about it, i catch my girl friends makin out all the time :P

from that statement, i think that you're bi. did you people that replied above me even read her post? if she doesn't care about having a relationship (gf/gf) with another girl then she's most likely bisexual.

But, just because you feel compassion and get defensive in discussions about homosexuality or lesbianism doesn't mean that you are. Other people defend them but they're not homosexual or a lesbian.

Just be who you are. Maybe you are bisexual, maybe you're just bi-curious or maybe this is just a stage in your life. If your parents truly love you, they'll accept you. They'll come around eventually. At least they didn't like outright say that homosexuality is wrong and etc etc.

Why are you so quick to judge? We haven't even really discussed my situation and you already think I'm wrong. I came here for help and advice.

most 15 yr olds are finding themselves
and with many people saying stuff like being gay is okay and fine now a days it makes people think more that they are at the smallest of things.
Everyone has different opinions
and if you posted in a help/advice forum then your going to get different opinions
some you may not like and some you may
you got to accept them and move on.

You can possibly be bi.
