I'm in a relationship with a beautiful girl... hollyann. I love the crap out of her. Hell, i won't give up on her no matter what. I pray for her, I talk to her every day, I have major feelings for this girl, and you guys all know who she is. Here's the problem, and its really long and complicated i honestly dont know exactly what the problem is but hopfully you guys can help me figure things out. This is the hard thing.

i'm going to visit her on july 4th, and latley all my friends are making me question my relationship... it makes me crazy, everyone is telling me that these are the years in my life where i should have fun and fool around and just be friends and not put that stress on my life, and i didn't have a problem with it at first, but these people have been friends with me for years, and its just so fukkin hard to keep this from them... i really love holly, and they suppress it with all this dbout they put in my head... things i hear all the time:

1. they say: i don't know why you go out with that girl she lives a million miles away.
- i say: it could be worth it
- i feel: depressed, what if im work so hard for nothing... :(

2. they say: you should go out with grace you guys are perfect for eachother
- i say: convenient maybe, but perfect... nope
- i feel: don't give up.... please stop it guys...

3. they say: these are the years you should be haveing fun
- i say: i know, but i can't do that...
- i feel: am i missing out on somthing? ugh, don't give up, but man this sh*t is wearing me down.... :(

4. they say: don't just stay in one place josh, you should be trying out all different girls
- i say: but i really like holly


5. they say: hey, josh cmon, you can have holly, sarah, and grace if you wanted... (probobly shouldnt have said that one)
- i say: ugh, thats so wrong
- i feel: but what if they are right... this is horrible :(


6. they say: shes such a sarcastic bitch why do you like her.
- i say: i like how shes a sarcastic bitch
- i feel: hhahahahhahahahhaha, good... :)

7. they say: all i see in her is immaturity josh, shes only 15! *echo*
- i say: well, alot of bad stuff happened to her... shes alot more mature than most people her age... she had to grow up much faster... ;_;
- I feel: She is 15... is that really such a bad thing, people keep loooking down on me, and makeing me feel like such sh*t... :(

8. they say: i don't know why you put up with all of her crap somtimes...
- i say: but you don't know whats going on... you don't know her like i do...
- i feel: you should always work things out... :P

9. I said: hey, if i wasn't in a relationship. it would probobly fool around with you guys but i am so i wont. (i was drunk when i said this, im extrememly honest when im drunk)
- They say: ugh, if only you weren't dating josh... i would fool around with you too... you guys should just break up. hell, i would have sex with you if grace wouldn't. as long as you wanted too...
- i say: i would feel horrible if i did something like that!!!!
- i feel: what the f**king!!!!! dhfgnkjsdghfniusgbdufsygrvbuygbduogybdfuyb WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME WHEN IM DRUNK DAMN YOU!!!!!!!! f**k f**k f**k f**k!!!!! PUT MY FIST THROUGH THE f**king WALL!!!!!

10. they say: josh, you could just be wasting your time....
- i say: *nothing, i don't know what to say anymore* :(
- i feel: sad

Josh... You love her. Ask yourself this: Do you love her enough to do the long distance thing? Which your answer is obvious, you're with her now, and you say you "love the crap out of her." Yeah, sure they're your friends and such, but if they were really good friends, wouldn't they support you? I don't see why you let your friends put you through this torture. Though, mine used to do the same. Just.. Uh *gets mushy* "Listen to your heart" it may lead you places and you might get hurt, but at least you gave it a shot. Don't question your relationship with her because of those people. You know you love her, and I'm pretty sure she loves you...

I'm sure July 4th will help you realize if it's really worth it... Which I'm sure it most likely is, seeing as I'm in a long distance relationship myself. (USA/UK thing...)

Talk to her about it, though, she'll probably respond to this anyway.. heh.

Nothing matters as much as your feelings towards Holly. It doesnt matter whether your friends think you're wasting time, as long as you find it worthwhile. Even if at the very end you guys don't work out, the memories and life lessons you learn will have a bigger impact on you rather than fooling around all the time. =)

Hey, heres the tip with relationships in general, dont listen to other people - follow your heart. Im also going out with a girl from the states and i like in the uk, god knows how many miles away but i still love her with everything, ive been going out with her for over a year, weve had our ups and downs and friends have said "why are you with him/her" but no matter what we follow our hearts i think you should do that too instead of listning to friends (i know there good friends and you shouldnt have to choose them or holly but dont take orders okay) sorry if i seem like im forcing you btw, i just dont want you to throw away someone you love then realise you made a mistake. just listen to what you think okay, if you love this girl and you want to be with her for as long as time itself then by all means, keep it up! (sorry about all the ramble)

But then again not all of those things are very important if you love her then nothing should hold you back from her not your friends not anyone

I can tell you that long distance relationships have to be serious, and both sides have to completely trust one another. Forget what anyone else says. You're the one in the relationship, not them. If you feel it's right, and it's what you want, then go for it.

Forget everyone else. You and Holly are the only ones that matter. If you two really care for each other, (and you're both dead serious) then both of you can stick it out until you can be together physically. Your problem really seems to be the pressure your friends are putting on you.

honestly, I've been in a long distance relationship once. well, it was not really a relationship because i was 12 and i did not know what i was doing. well anyways. not to hurt you or anything, but having a relationship is hard--wait let me correct myself, having a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship is hard. because at anytime, that person can break up with you once they find out something about you that they don't like. like there is no commitment. okay, where i'm going with this is that, since having a relationship is hard, would you think having a long distance relationship is harder? you don't know what they are doing or what are they feeling. yes, love is trusting that person, but you are just boyfriends/girlfriends and anything can happen. so yea.... i'm just saying watch out bro. there is nothing to hope for the best but just prepare/be on guard for the worst.
