Anyone else hear about it? she had it reduced. what do you think?
I guess I don't mind. Its her choice and she a big girl. Although it might send a bad message to young girls who admire her. they might think that since she is doing it I should too because I want to be pretty and plastic surgery is the only way to look pretty.
*I did a search for this and couldn't find anything.

I think it looks better...And yeah, it's her choice, but like you said, it's not a very good thing to do since there are people who admire her.

Exactly, it doesn't dip downwards anymore. I mean, I've seen some people with noses like that, and on some it works. But it made her look...I don't know, just weird.

I like it too. but don't you think her and others who get surgery done should just accept what they have already? its not like the nose job got her famous, she was already famous so its not like this is going to give her career a boost.

I think her nose job was really classy, unlike some other people (Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson (who's really in a class all by himself), Joan Rivers, etc.). If anyone is worried about her not being a "role model" because she had a nose job is ridiculous. The woman was drunk at a McDonald's, that should've caused her to be less "role model-y" than the plastic surgery.

I think that's a horrible thing to say. It isn't at all abnormal to have a 'butt chin'. Many people have 'butt chins'. Some show more than others. So what would you guys classify as normal? - Everyone looking exactly the same?
Evangeline Lilly has a similar chin, and she's beautiful.
None of you people are perfect. Put up a picture of yourselfs and I'm sure we'd be making adjustments to your face.

She does look better with her new nose, but she said she wouldn't get rhinoplasty! Her old nose looked just fine.
In TeenPeople's October 2005 issue, she said: "I felt like my nose was big. I was always like, 'I'm going to get a nose job one day.' And I'm so glad that I didn't. I love my nose.... It has character."
That's one of the reasons I liked her, but now I think she's a big liar.

I hate it when people lie like that. Angelina Jolie said she wouldn't mess around with married men because her father cheated on her mother. But she married Billy Bob Thornton while he was engaged to Laura Dern (she didn't even know until she saw it in the tabloids) and then she hung around Brad Pitt before, while and after his marriage fell apart.
I'm upset with this whole plastic surgery thing. What happened to being real and liking yourself for who you are? Do people even appreciate realness anymore? Am I boycotting make up, push up bras, padded bras, etc for nothing?
I think she is setting a bad example for her young fans. It's like telling them that if you don't like something about yourself, don't accept it, just buy yourself an improvement. Who cares if there are dangers and that it costs a lot?
I've been tempted to get a boob job because I can't fill out anything. I'm 18 so I know that I'm just going to be naturally flat despite my years of hoping. Will I have to go under the knife because no one will make bras my size anymore (as if they even do now)?

Honestly I don't see the difference. I dislike the fact that she went back on her word and got the nose job anyway, but it's her life. Still, it's like telling her fans "It's okay to be a hypocrite. Do what you want as long as you have the money and a camera stuck infront of your face. You don't always have to love yourself." The one thing I used to like about Ashlee Simpson was the fact that she seemed okay with who she was. Now I think she's full of bull.

no caring that there are risks is not that same thing as appreciating the risks and coming to the realization that they are minimal, and making an informed decision in favour of surgery.
