have you ever been asked out as a last resort? like to the prom or something? would/did you accept, like if you were desperate for a date too?

my brother and his friend were trying to find a date for prom for their other friend. my brother's friend was like "you're 14, right...?" i said no of course. but they called about 10 other girls

Wow, I'd be pissed if someone used me as their last resort. That is such a slap in the face. I would definitely turn them down

It depends actually. If they just want to go and they're asking me for a favor as a friend, I'd be chill with it just as long as he doesn't restrict me from meeting other people. And that he's aware that I'm doing him a big ass favor. Now if he calls you after 10 people and goes

"Baby would you be my special gal for the night?"

I'd take my beautiful stilletos and shove it up his ass, and make him buy me new ones. :D

It was a favor.
My friend's friend needed a date to senior ball, and told my friend his expectations were "asian, pretty girl". He then came over to me and asked if I would go.

Of course, I was too good for him so I didnt go.

I think, as long as I don't know that I'm their last resort, I'd go with them willingly, and probably happily to whatever that they asked me out to. But if I found out that I'm their last resort...I'll be iffy about it. And as other people have said, if it's for a favour for a friend...that that's different.
