I kool aid dyed my hair once....wasen't fun..

Anyway if you want some good stuff go to some place that sells hair dye and stuff..
like we have a place called Sally's here..
i don't know if you would as well
but they sell stuff for salons as well
and they have this dye called..
manic panic
something like that
it works reallyy good.
My mom use to dye her hair a ton of differen't colors even blue
but i would suggest bleaching your hair as well.
but manic panic works well for colors after you bleach your hair..
it also glows in a black light
haha.

If asians try dying their hair more then 3 shades lighter in a brown color it usually turns a ugly orange color.
I never dyed my hair blue before but to avoid hair disasters, it's best to bleach it then dye it blue.
One of my friends last time dyed her hair at home a purple color & it came out a ugly red color & it took so much more money just to fix it. Best to go to a salon. It's gonna take more money to fix a at-home dying job then just getting it done at a salon.

No color will ever show up in black hair unless it's bleached first.

I'm also planning on dyeing my hair blue. Not ALL of it blue, but some of it. I have almost-black hair. Here's my advice to you :: Either bleach it all then dye it with a blue-black color or whatever blue you're looking for (there's a dye at Hot Topic which is blue-black, it's supposed to work pretty well), or get it done at a salon. I would go to the salon, just to make sure no damage is done to my hair, but the choice is yours. One key hint of advice, though :: DON'T use that pure peroxide stuff to do it! It'll damage your hair alot. Alot alot alot.

I agree and think bleaching is the only way to go if you want blue.

Maybe you could call a hair stylist to be 100% sure if you still don't know.

i agree. i would just go to a salon than waste even more money on fixing it up after screwing it up.

I think the salon's a better idea.

google how to dye dark hair. the salon would be able to get it to change color for sure though.

Manic Panic.
First get the lighting manic panic.
[turns your hair a temporary blonde just for the dye]
Then you can get blue or any other color really.
and it washes out if you want to change it.
It washes out in a month or so.
When it washes out so will the blonde.
