Hello everyone,
I am wondering if there is anyone who has a Linksys Wireless Gateway WCG200 that is able to use AIM Instant Messenger successfully?
A friend of mine recently purchased this router/gateway and now his AIM constantly disconnects and reconnects to the extent where he cant even reconnect due to to many sign ons. ( IM restricts the number of sign ons per machine).
Does anyone have any solutions to this problem?

The WCG200 is MESSED. From what I've read, it has to do with something with the way the wireless was set up inside the modem.
Yes, I have one. Comcast user. Now I have an AP connected to it and just go online with that because the WCG200 always disconnects on me. If your friend bought it recently, I'd suggest having him refund it, buy a motorola surfboard modem and a different wireless access point if he's going to connect wirelessly.
