Now i'm not a huge gammer anymore but I still wanted to talk about this. I know, to a lot of people, Nintendo has been dead since the end of N64 but i'm going to ask anyway...How many Nintendo fans are here? Going to purchase the Wii?

Personally, its still my favorite company. I probably have different reasons for it though than most of you. I for one can't afford the XBOX360 or PS3 (Jesus f**king Christ on PS3) and I really only play sports games and the occasional survival horror game. I think the Wii will satisfy my sporting desires but i'll be missing Resident Evil : (.

I'm almost certainly going to buy a Wii, possibly even on launch day. All that's left is for Nintendo to give a price lower than $200, and I'll buy it.

I could afford the 360, but I see no reason to buy it at the moment, other than for bragging rights. Maybe when Halo 3 and Forza 2 come out, and it's gone through one or two price drops. There's no way I can pay for the PS3. I guess I'll be buying a used PS2.

Yes. In fact, I'd do it just for the new Super Smath brothers game.

I think I'm going to go to flee markets to buy used games since I can get them for pretty cheap ($1 each) and sell them at EB for the price I'm getting so I can build up my store credit.

Not likely. It's a good system, save for weird controller setup, but the controllers are enough to make me not want to purchase it. My friend got an Xbox360 a bit ago, though, and it's really nice; I'd definitely pick one of those up if I actually had money.

I've only seen a bit about it. The stupid twirly wand thing is the only thing that is really hyped.

I'm considering it, Haha, I miss the classics... Sony only satisfies my FF needs, ahem. When FFXIII comes out & only if they make a FF7 remake, with amazing graphics, will I even try to buy that ps3... I mean I just GOT the ps2... hem. So, I'm definatley considering the Wii, it looks funky :)

after seeing, red steel, metroid prime 3, and super mario galaxy, there is no wii (hahaha) i wouldn't snag it on launch day, especially at half the price of the others (tho im getting a ps3 too!)

Jap price won't be more than 25,000 yen, which is about $225

I've been a little hesitant on whether or not buying the Wii. First, I kind of hated the name, because I'm so used to saying the Revolution. But I got used to it. And the E3 conference definitely convinced me the system could be worth the buck.
