how do u cut out an image perfectly from the original?

What program are you using?

adobe photoshop 7.0

the 1 is the lasso tool
and 2 in crop

if you look down its not circled but there is the pen tool as well [diagonal from the text tool]

but you may want to use the lasso one..
right click on it and either choose the polygonal
or the magnetic one


if you do use the pen tool
make sure you hit the paths button
so you can see where your going bettter..

its circled..

but also once you get it all covered if theres some places that need some work on moving them

if you look on the toolbar the icon right above the pen tool
its a selection tool
right click on it
and choose
direct selection path
and you can move the points..

im pretty positive its the same..
never had 7
just 6 and cs2..and illustrator..

thanks for the help this confession but i do have a question i tried the pen point and i copy after i finished doing the points and wen i pasted it it jsuts the outline of my points no image?. am i doing it wrong?
