Of which I'm sure many of you, being createBloggers, can relate to... So when I go on a MySpace, I get bombarded with buttloads and buttloads of pictures, right? Not only do the excessive, unnecessary pictures irk me, BUT THEY'RE ALL LINKED TO PHOTOBUCKET. Now, when there's a linked picture, I expect it to either be a thumbnail or to an actual page, not the source of the image. as;ghsgd;h IT MAKES ME ANGRY. Sorry. I'm probably just really weird and none of you can feel for me, but I had to let it out. And if this is in the wrong forum, je suis désolée. My question I present to you is if you have any MySpace pet peeves, or the aforementioned one (which, I hope is the latter so I don't feel like a complete freak).

My pet peave - all the friggin glitter crap people put on comments. No offense, I appreciate the thought, really I do... But PLEASE, no more friggin glitter comments. I hate going to someone's My Space to say hey or whatever and leave them a comment, to have to scroll down forever and a day because of all the damn glitter graphics stuff.

I mean, if the people only post one or two up every so often it wouldn't be as bad, but they post the same thing, like, 12 times, and then do it over and over and over. And then the ones who want to cyber or something... that's never good.

MySpace Pet Peeves:

• comments/graphics/pictures/large text that stretches out the page
• the billions of irritating and unescessary quizzes
• people who flood the bulletin boards asking for comments or whoring people
• whoring people, period.
• when it goes under maintenance and I can't check anything

I don't allow comments on my Myspace but I've seen many things that bother me on other sites.

I hate seeing "Hosted by blank blank" under the picture more than the picture just being linked to the site.

I also hate:

• when a song AND a music video are playing
• lots of huge graphics
• comments that were obviously copied and pasted many times, like those stupid glitter holiday things
• borders around the page, especially if the page stretches out
• people who have long conversations through comments especially if they know each other well
• underage people with pictures of them partying with titles like, "Can you say tipsy?"
• people write about drugs as their interests or whatnot

I get random friend requests all of the time, and they're mostly from adults probably 20-40 years older than I am, and that pisses me off. Another thing that annoys me is when people post pictures of themselves and their caption is "oh, i'm ugly huh?" when they know they're not. Attention-seekers.

YEAH. Or when people list all the bands they know, when you know they don't religiously listen to all of them. I hate that. It's as if they're trying to defend their coolness/hardcoreness or something shallow of the sort.

Eehhhh. I hate that, though, because I don't know. I just think it's kind of...dumb. If anything, I think MySpace should give that option to everyone. i hate when people feel the need to add like a bajillion things to their myspace and it takes forever to load and then ends up freezing your browser anyways. i kind of hate myspace in general and all the pedophile attention it gets. i hate when some people have to brag to their friends about how much friends they have or who got more birthday comments. i hate the messages that ask me if i want to view their webcams.

Well... considering the fact that MySpace ISN'T REALLY THAT GOOD actually, why is everyone using it? Because everyone else IS using it. Duh. And now Xanga and hi5 are becoming copycats because of the "MySpace era".
