Don't sweat it. Ask her out again. Be polite, and don't worry if she wants some friends to come along, maybe bring a few of your own. Get to know her better in that kind of enviroment, and then maybe later, when you're both more comfortable with each other, you can go out together alone. As far as I can tell, you don't really have a problem. Just play it by ear, you're fine.

His problem seems to be that her friend always tags along on dates. The next time you ask her out, just be sure to emphasize that it's just you and her. Maybe go somewhere you would only go to if you were commited.

If you friend is flirting with her (or you? whatever), big deal? It should be a non-issue.
If she wants to bring her friend along, it's either, as Waccoon pointed out, that you aren't being clear on what exactly your intentions are (which can be easily solved by telling her), or that she isn't yet comfortable or confident enough to be alone with you in a romantic sense. In that case, just take it slow. If you really want to be with this girl, or are interested, you can be paitent with her, I'm sure.
So, no big deal. Just, as I said before, play it by ear. You should be fine, hell, even if you are drunk, this isn't that difficult.

1) explain to her that you didnt make the rumors and its up to her if she believes you or not and if she doesnt thats not your problem.
2) Tell her you like her you can write a note if you are really shy but its better in person.
3) tell your "friend" to go find some other gurl to flirt with because thats ur gurl.
