i want to save a video that my friend has on her photobucket onto my computer, but how do i?

I don't think you can save videos in Photobucket.
Unless you're talking about GIF animations (which are images not videos, by the way). If so, save them in .GIF files.

.... Use the (direct) URL and make it into a link. Post the link somewhere. Right-click -> Save (link) Target.
