It depends. Maybe your "social status" will be "higher" and you would feel more confident at school.
In terms of academics, sophomore classes are never be better than freshmen, they are just difficult, especially the honors program.

Well, I think it depends. I loved my sophomore year, and it's usually the 'fun' year because you already have a feel for the school and how things work. You're finding your niche and I think usually enjoy yourself before the dreaded junior year.

Well...
Any year is better than Freshman year.

True that.
But no, there's not much of a difference. There WILL be a difference however when you enter junior year. Because then, there's the difference between 'underclassmen' and 'upperclassmen.' Of course, the best year for social status wise, is obviously senior year.

im a sophmore now.
ive found that your school years go by faster with every year youve got left. here at my school, being a sophmore is like being invisable. our lockers are alllll the way in the back of the school. although you are more experienced, youre not known as the noobie or the senior.

Hmm...yeah I personally found that things got better as I went from each year to the next.

Senior is the best.

See, I found my sophomore year in college to be
way better than my freshman year. I didn't really have a good time at all during my freshman year.

actually, thats only true if you go to a 4 year high school. se, I went to a three year high school, so Fish year was the best because we were lords of the school. Sophy year sucked. Expecially in band cuz everyone thought it appropriate to treat us as though we just learned how to walk. Bitches. Anyway. For me though, the best year was the year I was no longer in school at all. Sophy year sucked cuz it was hard. And junior year sucked cuz it was harder.

Mine sucks,my frehman year was *cheesy grin* frshy fabulous, but sph suck cause I moved and my new school starts at 10th grade,so I'm back down to the bottom of the food chain again lol,but most uppercklassmen like me cause I'm a bit more mature in some ways thsn my other sophmoric counterparts.
I'm pretty psyched about Junior year except 'm freaking out about the ACTs I'm afraid I'm gonna do horrible and not make it into any of the colleges I want to go to.

A lot of people told me that freshman year is the best but mine hasn't been all that good. Hopefully next year is better. But I'm going to move so I wont see my old friends.

Nope, not really true at all. My sophomore year sucked just as much as my freshman year. There isn't really anything that makes it better than freshman year. I think that junior year, for me, is the best, because I'm just starting to experience independence. A lot of you have probably gotten your liscense or something sophomore year but I just got my permit back in November.
But yeah, being an upperclassman somewhat has helped boost my confidence, I dunno why.

Freshman year was ok for me, it was a new experience meeting all different types of people. Sophomore year is the year where you see the difference between friends and acquaintances. I can't really choose which year was better, maybe sophomore year cus I got closer to some people.
But so far I've liked my junior year best (maybe?), even tho it's been a lot of work I've been doing good academically and socially.

it was toughER. since everything counted for soph. freshman year was like a headsup and a headstart towards our highschool so nothin counted for our college thing. JUNIOR YEARR IS HARRDD. helpp meee
