does anyone else watch Deal or No Deal? It's on Mondays and Fridays at 8:00PM EST on NBC. The show is a game show, and there are 26 (i believe) cases that contain amounts of money from $.01 to $1,000,000. At the beginning, the person playing gets to choose a case (they don't know which amount is in which case..so the whole game is based on your luck). then, the person chooses the cases remaining, one at a time, to be opened. as each amount is revealed, the player then knows which money amounts are NOT in their own case. after they open several cases, the "banker" offers them money to "sell" their case so that they will stop playing the game and walk away with the offer. basically, if you do well and continue to open cases that are low amounts, the offer will rise, but if you open large amounts (like $1,000,000), then the offer will go down since the probability that the person's case contains a large amount of money is lower. sounds confusing, i know, but this show is addicting!

last night, this guy walked away with over $400,000...the highest amount ever offered on the show. do you guys like deal or no deal? i can't wait until it comes on again on friday. =] howie, the host, is soo funny. i think that he's corny but is practically made to host the show.

Yeah very suspensful. i only watched it once.. o_o;;; i cant remember what channel it was on now -_-;; cause i was surfing the channel and found that show... i was like "NO DEAL!!!" hehe my friends were that time. i thought it was fun watching that cause we're like "DEAL!!!!!" "NO DEALLLLLL!!" we're like yelling at the tv xD

i don't really like shows like that. i like drama and soaps.

it is incredibly boring.

how anyone could watch it more than once is utterly beyond me.

firstly, its subjective, and therefore not a lie one way or the other

secondly, if you were implying that my statement was false, i dont speak OF lies. i just speak lies. sans the of.

The show adds suspense by going to commercial breaks in all the right places. So then you have to waste your time with commercials just to see what happends next. I don't like doing that but sometimes it's interesting to see whether the next case has $1 or $1,000,000.

I think the only thing that keeps that show going is the suspense. And the money.

i love this show too. when i think about it, its such a waste of time but so fun to watch.

I hate this show. People don't do anything special to win: no trivia, no stunts, just picking freakin' briefcases.

I've never seen it (and doubt I ever will see it since I'm never home at 8pm) but I've always thought that it sounded pretty stupid... I don't understand what is so exciting...

Hmm.. I havent seen it, but my friend gets annoyed cause her mom is always watching it.
plus, I dont really watch TV....ever, so I may watch it, but probably not.

i've watched it a few times (my stepmum adores it) and i think it's positively silly...

however, if i start watching it, i can't leave. it's just pure dumb luck but it's kind of funny to watch how people handle themselves.

I don't like it much. There's nothing really to watch, except for people winning and losing. I'm not a big fan of gameshows.

This show's.. ok. I've seen it a good 5 times because my parents watch it all the time. I think its sort of boring. I'd rather watch trivia (i like trivia where i know the answers! :) ) as for gameshows go. But, for tv, i prefer sitcoms and dramas. However, if i were ever to be on a gameshow, i'd want to be on this one! Its easy to win money and you dont have to know anything! yayy. lol.

I love this show...

but the thing is, it's sooo dumb. But yet I can't stop watching once I sit down to watch it. Dumb luck.
