what do you think will make createBlog more interesting than it already is? I mean, lately, it's not that active. I'm kindof eWorried if createBlog will just slowly die and everyone will forget about it. This is clearly shown in the lounge, where I remember, as soon as a posted a topic before maybe about a year ago, after 10 seconds maximum of posting the topic, someone posted in it. Lately, what, the lounge is just.. inactive. And also, even the forum games is going by even more slower than before. I remember a few months back, we had the "first to post on page 21 wins" game, and we finished the whole thread in an hour. I remember when cB was actually active and fun. I miss it.

end.

thanks to strict mods that never changed and said they would become more lenient which they didnt.

Ooops.

I do wish that CB would come back to life- unfortunately, many members are becoming inactive. That's just it.

yep. it was such a shame that julia quit staff. :/
all the good people are starting to leave. except for michael.
jooleeah
haha christine. <3 shutup.
hm. then talk their performance about it in the moderator performance topic. that's what it's for, right?
chaneun
some of them may be eSensitive.
and i'm not talking about their performance. Actually, that's a small part of it. cB isn't active anymore. Details in my topic intro!
jooleeah
i think they can eHandle it. =)
well, i know this topic isn't based on performance...but that was still mentioned, right?

mm like i said. tests and stuff are coming up. i've talked to past members about them rejoining cb and they said they will when summer comes arounddd. cb always has its "slow" times and i'm sure it'll be more active soooon

EVEN THE CHAT IS GETTING EVEN MORE BORING NOW.
Gigi
I really don't think the mods are being power hungry, I think they're just trying to do their jobs. We've been subjected so long to a more controlled cB that it becomes hard to become more lenient.

Also, the mods get scared that if they don't do enough, other people will criticize them.

It'll take some time but cB will become more lenient, I'm sure.

And yes, that's part of the reason why I stepped down. cB was getting boring and it felt like a chore to be here, apart from the fact that I simply had no time to be active enough.

Hopefully the summer months bring cB great activity!
Ambuletz
I'm not really all that worried about cB dying..I mean, I've only been here a couple of months but it seems pretty active enough to me. Who cares if there isn't someone responding ten seconds after you post? At least it doesn't take days for someone to respond. What counts is that people post in a reasonable amount of time.
GREASEbaby
We really need to come up with some ideas to make cb more active. Like in my post in myspace help (Here. Post related to this in edit), sometimes we need to make help requests stricter in post count, in order to promote activeness. However, it may have a side effect. People might stop joining because you need the post count, but hopefully some people will. Those new members might be interested in cB promoter, which will refer. It's all a big cycle. We need some willing participants. I would be willing, but none of my friends are interested with anything to do online.

Maybe cB should have more to offer.
juliar
i know what you're talking about. like a month ago i came back and i wanted to stay posting for as long as possible, but for the past.. id ont know, week? every time i come back there's NOTHING new. NO NEW TOPICS. no new open ones.

and jerome's right, that whole BE MORE LENIENT thing just turned into shiet.

i think part of it might just be that we have too many mods doing too much at once and too little members that will make a topic.

Good point. Maybe some mods should be demoted, and make the mod hiring process for the future more strict.

Hey, thanks for the love. I think that's the first time in months anyone has said I am doing a good job!

Now, if all goes according to plan, people will see this, feel sorry for me, and then the ass-kissing will begin!

^welcome back to cB to ... post, actually.

cB was addicting for me because the forum activeness was ... fading away.
Rampage
Well the majority of it seems to be run by people who continually post inside jokes from the chat that no one can comprehend and people who have no idea what those people are talking about. Plus, a lot of the CBers are growing up and becoming busy. I'm sure a new generation will come in.
gelionie
^x3 Janette: and... what is your point?

It's most of the members who used to be active having to spend a lot more time offline (e.g. studying)... and the relatively newer members don't really know each other that well, so that may lead to a little inactiveness.

Eikkk, I don't know what I'm saying. ;X
GREASEbaby
My point is that there is rarely new posts, supporting the unactiveness?

Agreed with Rampage, sooner or later a new generation will begin. Hopefully the right person will come along to engage people all over again.

Wait, what happens when Jusun turns 4713241987 years old???
