I started reading her books when I was 12.....I think.
I loved them back them but now when I read them, I think they're kind of boring.
They seem to drag on if you ask me.

(100th post!! Yay!! biggrin.gif )
technicolour
I love her books. The princess diaries..I have all of them and whenever I read them I just laugh my head off.

<3 the mediator series too!

Oh, and All American Girl, and Teen Idol. Good GOOD books.
silver-rain
Oh yeah, I love her books. I used to read them all the time, including the 'adult' ones aha. But I've stopped and don't really have time to catch up.
chant86
yeah, i bought her books but now i think that i just wasted money. they're exciting at first, the way she wrote the story is just incredible. laugh.gif
Gigi
They're pretty awesome. :)

I like her books for adult readers, too. Chick novels are so much fun. <3
chant86
do you guys know other authors that write like her?
gelionie
I only liked The Princess Diaries series by her, nothing else.
salcha
Someone gave me Teen Idol for my birthday. It wasn't bad, but they're not exactly my favorite books.
sprezzatura
I have only read princess diaries, but I hope I'll get time to read her other books.
KissMe2408
She is a great author, I've enjoyed reading a few of her works.
Most of them was the princess diaries series.
I was suprised on how much I enjoyed them =)
flc
Yeah I like her too. My friends make fun of me for reading The Princess Diaries though. >_<
voguelove
ive read all american girl. its such a long read but its really good. haha.
eccentricity
I love Meg Cabot. I've read up to the 6th book for PD series. There's a new one.. but I'm not really into it that much anymore. I love All American Girl and Teen Idol. (:
TheReasonWhy
uh i like her...i started from PD...but i didn't read the mediator series...and all american girl is great too
marzipan
i've read all of her books. they're pretty funny! the princess diaries series was good in the first couple of books, but after that i lost interest.....the mediator series is cool.
technicolour
Ha ha I just bought the new PD book. It's hilarious.
much2muse
i like the princess series! i dont think i've read them all though.. maybe just the first two? i want to read the others, though. But I'd have to re-read the first two first because it's been awhile since I've read them.
jooleeah
Haha, I read her books in middle school....
They were cute. Not amazing, but likable.
sweetdreamsx3
I love The Mediator ones. xD I just haven't read the last one, but I read the others. :]
loopylandscapes47

ooo..i luv her books...but never read the mediator..heard of it..
tootsie_kiddo
I haven't read any of her books lately, but I was obsessed with Meg Cabot back in middle school, especially the Princess Diaries series!!!
redxguitar
She's like my favorite author and so far I've only read Avalon High (OMG! It's my favorite book besides the Outsiders by S.E. Hinton) and All American Girl, they were both awesome!
Gigi
Love love love her books. I remember reading her Princess Diaries ones a few years back, and a few others like All American Girl. I'm so behind on PD, I stopped reading them. :(

Recently I've started reading her more adult-targeted chick lit, ones like Boy Meets Girl, Every Boy's Got One, Boy Next Door, and most recently, Size 12 Is Not Fat. I love chick lit in general, but Meg Cabot's chick lit is awesome. It's great for when you want a quick, satisfying and funny read.

Boy Next Door and Boy Meets Girl.
If you're into chick lit, those are a must read. I loved both of them. Also, there's a sequel to All American Girl, so you should definitely check that out. happy.gif

Meg Cabot is probably one of my top five favorite authors.
Her books are always so interesting to read. _smile.gif

I love the Princess Diaries series and the Mediator ones as well.
TaintedDesires
I think I own every single one of her books.
OhMyAnniee
OMFG AVALON HIGH BY MEG CABOT<33333 it's sooo good! my favorite book in the world right now. YOU HAVE TO READ IT!
aymmi
My favourite was The Mediator series :)
Oh yeah and I also liked Avalon High and the Boy Next Door too.
StubbornFemme
MAN, I love this author. Even though I'm 18, I buy every one of the Princess Diaries series. HAHA, I can actually relate to Mia-her sarcastic side(< And I own other Meg Cabot books but I love the P.R. series. Even if it's for "pre-teens" I still love it<3 But I think there's some things pre-teens haven't experienced yet or understand some of the stuff written in there. But hey, who knows?
liquidize
Uh I read the Princess in the spotlight, I have the book actually..
ANG33ZY
I read the first Princess Diaries. It was good.
jue
I've read a book by her but i can't remember the name. and then there's also the princess diaries. Which were awesome, movie wise, I never read the book.
mona lisa
I just finished the sixth book in the Princess Diaries series. Some parts of this book are hilarious. I'm not really into chick lit, but this was entertaining.

I've also read Avalon High. I thoroughly enjoyed it because it was a bit of a mystery story and the whole element of history tied to it was interesting. And I've just started Size 12 is Not Fat. Hope I won't be disappointed.
Gigi
^ I finished that a while ago. It's the first in a series, so I'm going to expect more; because honestly, I was quite disappointed.

I would say why but that would ruin the ending for you. =)
chant86
the mediator series' last book will be out on January! yaaaaay! can't wait. :x
cancholac
She's awesome.

Teen Idol, All American Girl happy.gif
Fabio.
I absolutely love Meg Cabot's tone... like, the way she writes, the words she uses. She's witty.

I read the Mediator series three times. I'm in love with Jesse... he's amazing. Ghostie or no ghostie.
technicolour
Princess on the Brink..OHMYGOSH. MOST DRAMATIC BOOK YET. Loved it. Read it twice. :D
mona lisa
One thing I like about Meg Cabot is her ability to make me laugh, even if it's for a lame reason. :D There have been many times when I've laughed at something silly in the Princess Diaries series.
annalucky
I think I've only read the Mediator series from her. I've seen some of her newer books on the tables at borders; I might check them out when I find the time, she seems to be really popular.
Amay
I am kind of a fan of hers.
I mean, all of the story lines are the same.
Girl likes boy.
Boy likes other girl.
Other boy likes first girl.
Girl ends up with other boy.
The Mediator and Avalon High are my favorite Meg Cabot books, no doubt.
Everything else is just...repetitive.
mona lisa
*Bump*

Chick lit never makes me cry but I finished the 8th book in the Princess Diaries series and teared. I think that I've gotten too far into the stories to stop reading them and I HAVE to know how this ends, especially after this one. My friend gladly lends me her books because she's obsessed with them. :P

Ahh well, this series will always be my guilty pleasure.
tokyo-rose
I've never read The Princess Diaries series, but I've read a few Mediator ones. I really liked All-American Girl. I need to read Avalon High and How to Be Popular.
OhMyAnniee
I read Avalon High again this past weekend.
It's still my favorite book throb.gif
