I was just wondering with another funny conversations today between me & the lady doing my hair.


Her: what school do you go to
Me: (the local high school)
Her: oh what year are you?
Me: a freshman
Her: & i thought you were in college!


people always seem to think that I'm a million years older than i am even though I'm only 14 7 pretty UNDERdeveloped. Maybe it's because I'm asian & people always seem to think of asians as being small?

i love it when ppl think i'm older looking though lol. just not really old...

i'm actually 14, but people always think i'm 16 or 17 all the time.
and today in this class i took to get my jet ski license, the guy who was teaching didn't believe me when i said i was under 18...

lol, yaah it's flattering to be thought of as being older.. it just confuses me a lot!

Personalyl I think I look my age, which is 14. But most people think im 16-18. I've been mistaken for a 24 yr old once.

It's either a little older or a little younger. Just by a year or two.
So I'm not really sure. I've never really kept count....so I'll just say both.

I don't know. But one time, my mom was shopping for some plants, and the guy had to get the plants to my moms car, so my moms car was parked far away, and the guy told me to run to the car and drive it back so he can put the plants in. O_<

One time when I was at an afterschool program with my cousin which only freshmens-seniors can work at.A guy came up to me and said to my cousin..Is she a freshman? And I`m only 12.

sometimes i'm mistaken for a senior or a college student. i'm only 13. lol...other times people think i'm about 16 or so.

a nurse at my doctor's office thought i was 10 when i'm actually 16
and she thought my younger sister was older than me

Personally i'm 15, but people think i'm older. When i was 13 my mom's friend thought i was 16. I don't understand because i don't wear make up or anything. Maybe it's because i'm tall but i`m only 5'2? Now i'm a freshmen and a sophmore i know thought i was a junior. Haha it's just how things are. And people judge by the way you dress if you dress older than you are + the way you look then yes of course you look older. :]

people used to think i was so much older. I mean were talking I'm in elemenary scool and they think im in highschool. Now that I'm older, everyone thinks I'm young. I can't win.

It depends, my face looks my age, my height and voice don't.

im 16 now but when i was 13, someone thought i was my dads wife. wtf..how does that happen? and also, this year, one of my dads friends was like, "i heard youre going to high school. hows it like for the first time?" and i was like, "its great..for the second time."

i think it has to do with my height. im 5'7 and im asian. most asians are like..5'2 so they could just think im full grown or something.

lmao, the dads wife thing made me laugh out loud.. seriously. but 5'7 is wicked tall for an asian girl ^_^ .. i'm only 5'3

ppl think i'm younger... i'm in 9th grade, and an 8th grader thought i was younger then her it's cuz of my fat cheeks

for me it depends how i dress.. cause if im sitting down then i can be passed off as older by the way i dress (one guy thought i was 18-21) that was really creepy
but when i dont were makeup and dress down.. i can pass from 8-12
im 15 turning 16 in a month.. what makes me seem soo young is my height (410-11) >_<

It really depends on who I'm talking to. Most of the people I talk seem to think I look my age, but now and then there's someone who thinks I'm like, a year old than I am. { shrugs }

well funny thing... i was mistaken as my mom's sister AGAIN! im not sure if that means my mom looks young or I look OLD lol anywho, my friends say i look a youngin lol esp in my class.. being the youngest and all.. its all good tho i think i look my age. =D

When I was 10 - 13, people always thought I was younger.
Now that I'm 15, once a guy thought I was 18 and one of my mum's friends thought I was studying in university. -_-

I'm 18 but I really do not see why people used think I was older when I was younger. I am not well endowed at all...

When I was about 16 some creepy man asked me if I was married. I told him I was on my way to my boyfriend's place yet he kept asking me if I was married. I kept saying no, then told him to go away and finally just ingored him. He kept trying to talk to me until his stop.

It depends. I've been told I look both younger and older...depends on how I dress and if I wear makeup. My age range is currently like...13-24. Thats the oldest I've been mistaken for before...it was kinda funny.

When I went to America (Chicago) last summer some older teenagers though I was 18 (I was 14) and they're like O_o. I was on the plane back home with my brother and the African American(?) man sitting next to us thought we were a couple, age 22 or so, he was so shocked to hear our ages. Apparently, I heard that Americans can't tell the age of Asians, haha.

I'm often told I look 11, but in about 51 or so days (heh, maybe i'm counting. June 13th) I'm turning 14.

I'm a freshman..people usually guess that I'm a junior..sometimes sophmore. People are kind of suprised to hear I'm a freshman..I guess cuz I'm tall..and mature looking for my age..and some of my friends are short so I guess compared to them..?

Well people have said that I look 15/16 but I'm 14 .. so it's not much of a difference. When I was like 12 .. I had these photo's taken in Thailand .. in the national costume .. thing lol and the photographer turned to me and said your a little short for a 16 year old ... ^____^

im always told that i look wayyyy younger..like 14-16..but i think thats partially cos of my height too. im about to be 20 && 5 foot tall. yeah! go asians! haha. but ive also been told that i look like im 23-24..so yeah..

When I was about 12 I could pass for about 16 but now I'm 15 and can probably still pass for about 17 depending on the amount of make up I use.
