It's a great resource for finding out information on various anime series though. I guess that's why I joined it originally.

I received the June 06 issue of ShojoBeat today and I couldn't help but to tear through it, as usual. I love this magazine.

Anime theme every week? Does sound catchy, however someone else would have to set that up, i've been really busy lately and can't take on something else, as it is I need help with the fanart thing.

I think I used to spend $50 on manga a year, lol. that's really good too.
However, now Fruits baskets comes out every like, 4 months, so it's probaby down to about $20 or so.

If I only spent about $50 a year, I'd have a LOT more money. Haha.

I spent 200$ on manga in one blow. =X I walked up to theregister with a basket full of manga and the guy started at it. So I glared back. I read them in in... Three days. Oh well.
Whoa. I sound like a crazy person. =X But, like, if I only spent 50$on manga a year... I think I'd die. I spend more than that in one visit usually! o.o I don't ever buy just one manga, it's usually four or five... I'd have enough money to pay for a laptop if I didn't like manga so much. =X That's a scary thought. Now I know why it's taken me so long to save up for that laptop....

I applied to Borders once but they didn't reply. I called in and they said interviews were during the day on Mondays, and they're only looking for people to work during the day. Basically, the time when I'm at school. -_-' *sighs* Oh well.

I applied at Barnes & Noble. Yeah, they never replied. It broke my heart. My poor 16 year-old heart (at the time).

They people already think I work there... o.o I told the crazy story about the employee who walked up to me and asked me where to find something. He was embarrased. 'twas funny. My daddy "works" in the Target electronics section. He even has a properly coloured shirt!
And my friend would never, ever let me apply at a Starbucks. -thinks- He still won't let me buy coffee... He barely lets me buy the pasteries (for fear of airborne coffee particulates). The carrot cake muffins there are gooood...
I need manga. -looks at manga box, winces- I've read everything in that box at least four times. =X I want Earthian 3 or something.

So...what was the first anime series you watched? Anyone can answer. What is it about anime that sparked your attention?

I think the first anime series I watched was Sailor Moon. I didn't actually watch all the episodes. I just kinda saw some of it and decided the style of art interested me. What I like the most about anime is the art. I love drawing anime eyes. I absolutely love looking at beautiful anime like X/1999 for instance.

Probably why I'm so into it now... x.X

Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon were the only ones I knew. I started dating this girl that was into Anime. She had DVDs of Anime shows in Japanese so I never understood what they were saying. When we broke up I started getting into anime and the music as well. Some of my favorites are Samurai Champloo, Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, .hack, and Ghost in the Shell: SAC.
