Hey Everyone,
Okay well, in my case..Age doesnt matter. Every relationship I've had has been with someoen older, and my current is considerably older. But, I'm looking for everyone else's opinions. Even though I'm quite aware (from personal experience, too) that many people think it's wrong for a large age gap..And I'm looking for honest opinions 'please' try torespect those of us who see differently in how you word your answer. Thanks!
Peace Forever,

I think that as long as you love the person age shouldn't matter. like when i was 14 i went out with a 19 year old because we loved eachother. And i dont like how parents say age matters blah blah, look at them, some parents are like 10 to 30 years apart!! i mean come on now!! lol. Well thats my opinon.

It's not a problem, but it kind of depends on how old you are.
If you're young to begin with (14 and under), then I don't think you should be dating anyone 3+ years older, but hey. I'm not here to contradict who you date.
If you're 15+, then I don't think it matters a whole lot on how much older the person is.

Although there are other topics like this, I'll say my opinion.
Four yearsish up and downwise. I mean my uncle and aunt are eight years, I think.

I don't go by years, rather by maturity. I dunno, the oldest guy I dated was a year older than be but then again -_- I wouldn't know.

The oldest person I've dated was 5 years older than me, the youngest was almost 2 years younger than me... I didn't know he was that much younger than me, we were in the same grade but he started school early and was born late in that year.
Age matters to me because lots of my male peers are incredibly immature. Plus...I'm a bit too experienced for those guys and I want mature things in a relationship, so I aim for guys who are a few years older than me.
I think the legal age limit is 4 years, but I'm not sure.

age shouldnt matter unless hes older than your dad....thats kinda creepy. but i mean my boyfriends 18 and im 16..thats not so bad. but sometimes you should wonder why hes with someone younger than him (should it be an extreme age gap)

It's not really about an age difference, but relative age. A 20-year-old dating a 25-year-old isn't that bad, nor is a 27-year-old dating a 37-year-old. As people age, age differences become less and less noticeable. A 14-year-old dating a 16- or 17-year-old wouldn't be that odd.
Generally speaking, though, I'm a bit skeptical of a college-age student dating someone in high school. People mature a lot when they go to college, and I don't care how mature the high school kid is, he very likely has a different mindset and maturity level than someone who has been out on her own for a while.

Age difference? for me it does kind of matter. like 14 to 20? whoa that's a little too much. In my opinion, it does matter. I only date guys my age or 2 or 1 year older.

I actually dated someone who was twice as old as me (14 years to be exact) and the relationship was fine for about a year or so.

If you're mature enough, go for it. But most kids jump into relationships with guys much older than them, who use them and leave them once they get what they want (sex, obviously). But it doesn't matter to me - I recognize those guys easily. I'm 17 and my boyfriend is 21. We've been together for a year and a half..

really
its a matter of opinion
and if your mature enough
i'm 14.. and dating a 19 yr old
or well pretty much 15 and 20
but yea. we've been together for quit a while
just don't care about what other people think
and go for it if you feel comfortable

also the legal age isn't 4 years older.
you can date anyone.. just if your under than age
of 16 and their over 18 then if you have sex
its consider rape
although a lot of states are different.
so really just check the laws before having sex.

Really
follow what you think is right.
Don't go over the top like everyone else is saying and go for someone old enough to be your dad
or someone thats like 10 yrs older
because it is a little odd.
but do you what you think is right.

how much older
exactly is this guy?

i mean if you're like 15-17 and dating someone over 10 years older than you, then that's wrong...not to mention illegal. "age is not a number"--that's true, but there are ALWAYS exceptions.

To me, there's a limit on older and TOO old for you. For example, I think it's alright to see a 14 year old dating a 17 year old but if I see a 14 year old dating a 34 year old...I'd be creeped out.

i think if you're older than 18, go ahead and date someone older, as long as it's not over 10 years older, that's just creepy. But I know kids who are only 13-15 who are dating 17-18 year olds. I don't think that is legal, & i think it's ridiculous.

I've dated people a year younger then me, someone who was almost a year older than me.

I've
almost dated someone who, at the moment, is 3 years older than me. I think it shouldn't get more than 4 years if you're under 18 because it'd be a little creepy just in general. course, that's just how I'd view it.
but hey... if you've got someone that loves you and you love them back & they're way older than you, good luck to you two!

where I live... the whole age difference thing only seems to affect high school students. I know plenty of college kids dating people that are 3 or more years different in age... and especially in society today, the age gaps are HUGE... I feel bad for the younger person that has to live alone when their spouse dies...
but personally, for me... it seems that the older a girl gets the more bitchy they get so I like someone a bit younger 16-17 (I'm 18) ... but that's just a huge generalization and I hope no one takes offense =)
