I need help using this tracker. I don't understand how do I know who looked at my site? Most of the time it's just me when I was editing my profile. How do I know if it was someone else and who he/she is? Also, what's a unique visitor?

hey i have this as my tracker, but it doesn't show everything you say it has. all it shows is the destination but not where it came from. all i get are IP addresses and so i dont know if thats just how its supposed to be, or somethings wrong with mine.

While signed in to createBlog, go to
http://createblog.com/stats and if you signed up for the tracker correctly, it should show you the statistics for your site. On that page, there's also a link that says "Get tracking code." Click that.

A unique vistor is one specific user who visits your page. You'll know if it's someone else if the username says something than your own username.

well... i think u guys can improve on the "users" list for the myspace tracker. its always anonymous...like the others said, all i see is IP addresses...so how can u tell who is who?
although, i LOVE the xanga tracker. it shows everyone's username. =)

Do you mean the link back to CB Stats? Please don't remove it. It gives Jusun credit for making the tracker.

It is invisible, except for the credit link back to CB. And what are you using? The username feature is only for xanga, I think (I don't have Livejournal, so I wouldn't know about that).

Xanga/LiveJournal/MySpace/Blogger/website?

hi all,
thanks for all the feedback!
i updated the tracker so that you can hide the tracker button. do do that, click on 'edit tracker settings' and uncheck 'show tracker button'. update your blog with the new code, and the tracker code should be invisible. next time you want to check your stats, simply click on the 'stats' section (the red menu links) - if youre logged in, it should show your tracker.
also, to clarify, the tracker does not track usernames for myspace. this function is only available to xanga users. this is because with myspace, it is currently technically impossible to do that. when and if it becomes possible, i will update the code to include that feature.

Hi. First of all, thanks for making this tracker, I have been wanting one for myspace for quite some time.
My only complaint about the tracker is the fact that it shows the destination page of the visitor, but not the referal page. Is this a feature that is only supported by Xanga, or have I done something wrong when I added the tracker to my page? Just wondering. Thanks alot.

the only problem is that even with the invisiblity script coded in for the tracker button, the button still shows up. i don't know if it's only my problem, but i can't make it go away.

sorry, currently this feature isnt supported. myspace doesnt allow js script, and without it, you cant get the referer...

Your "hide" tracker button does not work on Myspace, as the pound symbol ('#') is filtered in myspace. Instead of creating a completely new style class for it, you can embed it straight in the tag.
example:CODE
<a href="http://www.createblog.com/stats/index.php?id=1"><img style="visibility: hidden; width: 1px; height: 1px;" alt="Myspace tracker" border="0" src="http://www.createblog.com/stats/myspace1.jpg" /></a>

^ thanks! ill update it on the next update. =)
as to the person who said trackers are not allowed - cb's myspace tracker is a statistics program, where traffic is presented in an aggregate format. also, even if it was, no where in myspace tos does it specifically say that tracker's (meaning harvesting usernames of people who visit your myspace) are illegal. section 8 lists the prohibited activities/content and no mention of trackers.
on the next update, the tracker will support locations. for a sneak preview, please go here:
http://www.createblog.com/stats/index3.php - xanga

-myspace tracker now supports top visitors (by ip)
-geostats: graphically track your visitors (

you should have it so you can see the link of the person who visited your page, like some people are trying to find real celebs on myspace, idk but like if you want to see if they are a poser and they should live in california but they live in uh ohio or something it tells you that now but you dont know who exacly owns the page who visited you. If that makes any sense? lol I want to know who is looking at my page exacly, I want the link to their myspace when they view mine.
