how does it work?

I HAVE A QUESTION!

Since myspace doesn't allow tracking of people's usernames and such, is there really a point in putting it on myspace? Because all you get on myspace is the person's IP address. Now, I know how to find my IP address, and that's about it. I don't think there's a connection in matching the IP addresses in this tracking device to the usernames on myspace? I don't know. I'm not very good with stuff like this, obviously because I am asking a question.

Basically, you can't because myspace doesn't allow that, so my question is...

Is there really a point in using this tracker on myspace besides keeping a count of how many people visit your page on a daily/monthly basis?

was working correctly, then came "No data found, check code, make sure it's installed correctly" Old hits are there, but nothing new shows. Any advice? oops, nevermind... just refreshed for the 20th time and it showed a 'hit'.... but apparently it missed a few.... hmmm...

Hi still some problem is there.

If any one using firefox they can switch off the script.
even i can handle this.

But if any using anonymous surfing there is no way to find in your way. Can do that one?

this is kind of pointless for myspace urser at least in my opinion. the point of trackers is to see WHO is looking at ur page. and with the tracker it doesnt really tell you. dont get me wrong its a great trcker but ive had better

why under 'destination page' is my profile url showing up for most, but for some it's empty?

Perhaps a dumb question. Where do I look at the stats for my myspace tracker??

Are you talking about on Myspace?
All it shows for myspace is the IP address, you cant really see who looks at your profile.
Cause its against Myspace's TOS.

I had a Trakzor account that and loved it. (Just nervous about being deleted).If it showed the user at all, it was wrong half of the time BUT it tracked their city and state perfectly. I found out my boyf's ex (2 yrs prior of us) is checking ours daily. It shows her AFB which is several states away. I joined this site and tried using the tracker here BUT it is showing my IP address as Illinois since I'm the only one that has checked it since joinin. I live nowhere near there. I'm thinking this tracker will only let me know I have a stalker, not where they are located which is what I want.

Hi! I just put my tracker onto Myspace and it says 0 for views but I've had 3 comments and 3 friends requests today. It shows my page when I click 'go to my site' so why isn't it working?

If someone sent you a myspace message before the tracker was added, and uses replies instead of visiting your page again, is it possible to track this IP info?

I must say, this is brilliant. But it should at least display the friend ID of the myspace visitors. Xanga allready has "Footprints" an automatic tracker that comes with the service. The only reason why I got this was to see my MySpace visitors. My only suggestion would be to fix up the myspace thing.

That may be. That just makes the IP address pointless as a way of finding out who is looking at your site. I live in FL....quite a ways from Illinois.
I did know what AFB my man's ex is stationed at and that showed up on both of our Trakzor accounts often. So, I left a rude blog about her titled "to my stalker". What do you know? She replied to it proving it was her. I don't know this woman. She got married to someone else 2 yrs. ago. It's been alot of fun though, getting under her skin. I copied all of my page in case I get deleted because she'd be the first to squeal if she knows it's supposedly not allowed. I can see the city, state of most of my visitors which is cool. I don't even care to know who it is exactly. If I know them, it is easy to figure out. It can take 12+ hrs to update, in case anyone was wondering.

Is there any way to add names to the ISP's once you identify them? so I don't have to always remember that that certain ISP belongs to a friend?

The tracker is awesome at first, but now my counter stops counting. Can anyone enlighten me? The tracker section still works cos' I can still see the top referral pages and other stuff, just the counter number stays the same, strange!

Hi, totally new to this and I read through all twenty pages to see if this was already answered and it looks like it wasn't - I may be being greedy, but is there any way to see all visitors instead of just the top ten in your stats? Just curious because I'll see hits and when I go to check them I'm unable to see it and for some reason on my geostats map not all visitors are showing up? Thanks!

I just added my tracker to my LJ and put the Friends website-Lastin website code in and just got comments but doesn't show up on tracker? Am I suppose not have the (tracker code ) like that? Is it without those ( ) that'll make it work?

Earlier this afternoon I tried to come on here but i got the 'this page cannot be displayed' so I'm thinking the website might have went down for some reason and messed up the stats.

I'm having a little trouble with my stats. It was working great but now I can't get anything to come up but the counter and the graph. can someone give me some tips?

I've had the same problem. I get a message that says "Bad Query" instead of what is usually supposed to be there. Is there a problem with the stats?

Yeah i saw that the page was down earlier too but its back up now and has been since early this morning and it appears our trackers are still not working on myspace. I THink maybe myspace blocked the code?>

The trackers are still working. Look at the graph.

Yeah, it appears that it's still collecting data somehow because the bar on the graph still goes up, but where the stats should be (ip address, location) it just says "bad query", and all the data from previous days has disappeared.
