Read through all the stinkin' pages in this thread, including the constant nonsense about MySpace username tracking...

Just putting my input in saying it's an awesome thing to have as I like seeing who visits my MySpace the most or at all (the location gives me enough to go on).

Since I use it, I may as well mention that you can use it with LiveJournal's S2 format. You use the URL of the entries page, but you put the generated code of the tracker into your About Me/Description box on the profile page. It tracks your journal views, you just don't see the button unless you view the profile page. Just in case anyone is still looking for a way to get it to work without loosing their S2 layout which would have devestated me as my S1 HTML layout is long gone and it took forever to build.

You could go to Google and type in "Free IP Tracker" and find a site that offers the service for free. That's how I've always done it, but I'm no expert. If you really want to know, you can pay to have the IP tracked. That usually tells you exactly who the person is.

hey i know that the suhock tracker lets you know your overall top visitor and stuff like that which I can only see for each month on this tracker. would there be any way to see data past one month?

Another tracker I came across, it works but you've gotta pay $5 to use the basic, and $10 for the super tracker, but you gotta pay a monthly fee of $5

Wait, in the sample for this tracker, it showed a column of stats for referral pages. However, when I view my stats, there isn't any information regarding referral pages. Has this feature been removed from the tracker?

i've been keeping track of which isp's belong to who. is there any way someone can add a feature to this program so that we can assign an isp to an actual name. that way when we log on, it will show the names we assigned instead of an isp number!

Dumb n00b question, but what does a blank destination page mean? It just has a hyphen where the URL would normally be.

It's only for two results, the rest are normal and have URLs...but I'm curious as to why that is.

A tracker that gives names/usernames isn't allowed by MySpace.
When you log in to createBlog, there should be a 'Stats' link at the top of any page on the forums.
Because this tracker gives you the link to the page that was viewed. You won't find a name, username, or link to the visitor's profile because MySpace doesn't allow it.

mines not tracking the usernames on LJ it always shows anonymous. I am using S1, placed the code on all _WEBSITE. Is there something wrong? or it also doesn't support usernames on LJ just like myspace? o_0

whooa! this is awesome. there is finally a tracker that actually works.

I think what mallory means is for us to assign the names ourselves, so technicly, the tracker isn't giving us the names, we're just linking the ip's to a certain name that we want to give it. I think that's a good idea, because then we wouldn't have to keep reffering back to our own notes (I do the same thing mallory does).

I think another nice feature would be to have an option where you can enter certain ip's that you don't want tracked, so that when you visit your own site, it won't add it to your statistics. Just a thought.

uh I need some help.

I got the charts, 'Top 10 destinations' and 'Top 10 referrals' working,
but 'Statistics for the last 7 days' and 'Top visitors' don't.
Did I miss anything?

It always shows 'No data found. Make sure tracking code is correctly installed.'

It works now. I didnt change anything.
I think there is some delay.

how do you check and see. will the tracker just send you a daily report on who looks at your page on createblog?? or will it show us when we log onto myspace? please respond back. ...micky

You do not get a report sent to you. Click on the stats link above (next to the createblog banner) and you can access your stats there.

You can also click on the cb stats button (if you made it visible on your site) and that will take you to the stats page here as well.

Since nobody answered my previous question, I'm gonna ask another :)

Why do the stats reset on the first of the month instead of say, keeping stats for the past 30 days?

I hit the 'logout' link and nothing happens and am not logged out.
FYI I can logout of the forum, but not out of the stats portion.

how did i not know of this before? i just put it on my myspace. too bad you can't see their ids, though. but i think it's actually worse that you know the ip address. but, whatever. it's cool. :)

^yea, I guess its worse to know their IPs? I don't really think its all that bad. Can't know their ID's though, its against myspace rules.

Sorry but i like this and everything but when i view my own page, on the tracker it shows me living in a completely different city, like a city close by but not mine is there a reason why?

I think it may be that it displays the location of your ISP (Internet Service Provider), not you. =\

Choose your settings. If you make it public, others will see your stats and you'll have a button that will link to your stats page for others to click. If private, only you will be able to see your stats and you won't need to put a button on your page.

You'll get a code. Place it wherever it is appropriate depending on which blog you use. As soon as people start visting your page, it will be recorded. To view your stats, click on the Stats link (in red) at the top of the page on cB (above the search button).

Am I the only one not being able to see xanga usernames? I set my xanga mode to Xanga Block so that I can see precisely everyone who views my site using this tool, but lately they are all listed as anonymous.

Hi, for some reason when I click the option to hide the CB stats button the tracker doesn't seem to work for me. Is there something I am doing wrong?

I've been using the tracker for a while. And I'll have to say its pretty good. Because I can actually understand what's going on. Because the other trackers had all these features that I didn't understand. But is there a way around the anyonmous thing for myspace. because I really would like to see who's really on my page instead of seeing where they log from. But good job! I give you props for this great creation!

whenever i click on the websites that have visited my myspace, it goes to my page. and ive redone my trackers to see if it will work but it always goes back to my myspace. do u know whats wrong and how i can fix it???
