I was just thinking (while going over the Official Graphic Designers topic) that maybe there could be an Official Coder group! These people would have forum privaleges{sp?} in all of the script sections of myspace, xanga, and website. The requirements can be somewhere along the lines of 15 script contributions. All cB members can PM them for coding problems, and maybe get an enlarged PM space. Could this happen?

This could work, but it reminds me a lot of the Official Designer group. But it sounds like a good idea to me. Submitting 15 scripts...sounds like a lot.

^ I think so too, we have a lot of scripts here already, and it's really impossible to submit 15 scripts.

Perhaps just the people who show extensive knowledge on the scripts we have and how to manipulate them?

Yeah, that sounds good. I just thought it would be a good idea because I know a couple people on here who have no idea how to code and would like to know somebody to look to.

There must be some requirments for submitting scripts.

it has to look "complicated", not so easy like a snap.

an example would be PHP code, iframes, and etc.

The script also can't be taken from somewhere else. It has to be original and new

not somthing that you are redistributing from somewhere else.

Okay, the script ideas sound good. And I originally came up with the "15 scripts" idea, because I don't know how much work it takes to come up with a script I aggree with Spiritual Winged Aura, they should be a little more complicated scripts. For example, I think birdman (don't know name either ) would make a great coder; I saw some of his Javascript tutorials, and they seemed layed out pretty well. Maybe tutorials would be a good part of requirement - either 3 scripts or 3 tutorials. Of course they'd have to be loyal members and all that.

As far as the enlarged PM space, I just thought that up because members might/probably would be PMing them for help, and they might need more space. But this of course would be the admin's decision; the PM space obviously takes up more space on their server.
