This is probably a wonderful in United States history. Finally equality previals, that is true democracy. I for one am for it. Being of the GLBTQ community most are, although I do think there may be better ways to make it legal in other states? Whats your take?
*homophobes need not apply, this is a discussion not a debate.

I am undecided at the moment. But I do believe that marriage is a special bond between a man and a woman. It's just like that. But in other cases, I don't know. Like I said, I am undecided about the same-sex marriage deal...

I agree with DittotoAnne18, marriage is about love and the want to be together forever. Doesn't matter who is doing the loving.

the point is really not whether or not u can get married. u should be able to, its freedom of speech after all. the whole issue, however, is the benefits you recieve from the government after having a marriage licence. couples can get secret weddings if they really wanted to, but the issue deals with the benefits. morally, im not really on any side. but i do think its unfair to discriminate against gay people harshly.
anyways, doesnt this belong in the debate section?
