I've been to Wal-Mart like once with my friends, but all their jewlery is like 1$ and some of it is really cute.

target > wal-mart.

I haven't been to a Wal-Mart in years, I don't think they have any in New York City. I do go to the K-Mart for candy.

There's at least one K-Mart in Manhattan, it's on 770 Broadway (I had to look it up for the exact address) which is around 8th street. That's where I buy my Gobstoppers.

i would never shop at wal-mart for clothes, and the only clothing i'd buy from target is some of their t-shirts. some.

I go there to get movies. $9.72 for a movie that would go for about 20-30 at Best Buy.

Except for that one time I got The Godfather for $15...and it was marked down again to $7.

I got to walmart for everything....except clothes. Their clothes are aweful. Theyre like 4 seasons late on the trends and it all ends up shirinking up. Nothing fits right and their clothes arent made consistently. Like i could try on a pair of pants in my size, then try the same pair on in the same size and they fit different. Some of their stuff looks cute on a hanger but it never fits the way its supposed to. When it comes to huge corporate chains that sell everything, target wins in the clothing department. But their stuff is more expensive, but its usually trendier. Id prefer the mall.

starlette -true, true. i hate walmart clothing. theyve got shirts that say "angel" on it. plus, the t shirts there are always too wide and never long enough. everything else there is fine though.

walmart clothes are not just tacky but they fall apart too. My friend tried on a shirt from there, and it started to fall apart at the seams.

I bought all my dickies shorts from there. Same thing anywhere else, no point on paying double when you can get it cheaper there. That goes for all my plain t-shirts and wifebeaters as well.

I don't buy the clothes. They aren't of a very good quality (le DUH). But buying movies and music there, it's pretty nifty. Cheaper = YAY!

walmart clothes now are definitely an upgrade from what they used to be. but their shoes are still horrible

I go there for school supplies and cds but I prefer Target.

I went on sunday, I mostly go to get lined paper or something. I like target better though. I hate going to Wal-mart, especially on weekends too much people.

Yea target is waaayyy better than walmart. cause the walmart here is all ghetto. If you saw something someday in one spot, its not there the next.

and have to wear it in school

My mom shops at walmart. I dont I only go there to get school supplies. I refuse to go in there if i dont have to buy anything other then school stuff.

Why would you try on the same jeans in the same size? I like their clothes. I feel sorry for people who think they can't shop at Wal Mart because they think it's "un-cool", cool, go spend a bunch of money for clothes that you're gonna hate in 3 months anyway.
