My boyfriend &I actually had a conversation about this, and thought it would be weird to kiss with our eyes open.

We tried it, as a joke, and it was sort of strange.

It just seems like instinct to close my eyes, I guess.

My boyfriend and I totally tried this. It was just random and we were under a blanket or something and it was like... "Do you think the freckles in our eyes are mirror images and when we kiss they're perfectly aligned?" So we checked... and couldn't tell. We ended up laughing halfway through the kiss.

I do both actually. I like to see how she looks when we're kissing and when I'm into it, I close them to focus & enjoy. Thing is though, I'd probaby freak out and crack up if I opened my eyes and she was staring back at me. lol.

when we're in the moment i guess, i just open my eyes for a sec and his eyes are open. i wish he would close them straight away cause he eventually does haha...but right when we're about to kiss i close my eyes, it just happens

I can rotate and focus each eye separately like a chameleon, so I keep one eye on my subject and another tuned to the background to watch out for predators.
