i thought they said liberals but now i have no idea. whats the difference with the two?
A liberal is a person on the "left" of the political spectrum; the term is most often associated with Democrats, although people from parties such as the Green Party could be considered liberals.
A libertarian is a person who believes strongly in individual freedom, and small government. They mostly believe that people should be free to do what they want, as long as they don't infringe on the rights of others. They uphold, among other things, freedom of speech and gun rights. In that sense, they are most often associated with the conservative ("Republican") side of the spectrum, although they have some more liberal leanings as well.

i despise most liberals...i suppose i might be conservative...maybe not but i don't hate conservatives
Just out of curiosity, what makes you "despise most liberals"?
