Hi... I'm new here and I didn't really see whether or not requests were allowed. I would absolutely love to be able to learn to make my own layouts, but alas, with two young children, finding time to sit down and learn the code is rather tough.

I've been with LJ for a few years now, but only recently bought a paid account. Right now I'm using a premade layout from one of the communities but I'm getting a little bored with it. It's well made, but I'm looking for something darker.

I would like to stay with the House theme but I'm having a hard time finding many premade ones. There are so many different communities that it's hard to wade through them all and most of them you have to join in order to see the layouts... Then if you don't find any you like, you have to take the time to unjoin the community... It just gets a little tedious.

So, I've ventured outside my comfort zone of LJ to see if anyone else might be able to help me out.

If not, that's fine, I'll just continue to trudge through the neverending communities and hope I stumble upon something I fall in love with.
