i think since he cared for u alot, and still had some feeling for his ex, he didnt want 2 hurt you even more then he would have. would you rather still have a relationship with someone knowing htat they still had feelings 4 another? it would hurt you. he prob didnt want 2 hurt you more then he has.

you can't control who you care about. i'm sorry things turned out the way it did. maybe it just isn't your time to be with him right now. it's hard to get over a first love. he's having trouble moving on from his ex and it's best that he told you so that the truth was in the open. it would have been selfish and inconsiderate for him to use you and then later on you find out about it all. but he told you truthfully before he dragged it on and i respect that. unfortunately it's going to hurt a little because your feelings got really strong for him and you threw such a nice surprise birthday party for him. i'm sorry it didn't turn out the way you hoped. in time it'll be better and he's right.. you WILL find someone else that'll sweep you off your feet. keep the friendship that you do with him. you never know what's possible in the future. always have faith and time will take its proper course. hope for the best but expect the worst always. best of luck. i hope things turn out the way you'd like. until then just be strong and do things for yourself right now..

gosh cindy. the story maybe closed, but the story is still fresh in my mind.

it`s horrible to like or even love someone you barely see. you said you only see him in the mall or places like that...and he`s in HIGH SCHOOL...why can`t you wait 'TIL high school? there are more guys there. it doesn`t mean that when you`re in middle school, you go looking for them "mature" guys. he might have liked you too cindy. but...he still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend? that`s why i hate guys that already HAD girlfriends. 1) they are "experienced" 2) they "LOVED" someone before 3) they might compare you to their ex. it`s horrible. i know you may have gotten over it by now, but i don`t want you to make the same mistake again!

i know people make mistakes...but can`t they just learn the first time?
