I can't seem to find it anywhere else. I'm not trying to do anything illegal, by the way. It's just me, trying to record myself playiing piano and then putting it on my xanga.
I was wondering if that's possible. Thanks a load.

to record, you're either going to need some sort of input for either a microphone or directly from your keyboard (piano) if that;s how youre gonna do it. or maybe just use sound recorder with a built in mic, but thatd be bad quality! with some software im sure you can save as mp3. or in the case of sound recorder you would need a wav->mp3 converter which can be downloaded for free. something like that. i dont really know the details! -___-

If you have some way of getting a mic to connect to your computer, then I guess you can do it this way.
1)Start->Programs->Accesories->Entertainment->Sound Recorder
2)File->Properties
3)Set drop down menu to recording format and hit convert now.
4)Choose quality from the topmost dropdown menu (probably CD quality)
5)Set Format to MPEG Layer 3 and hit OK.
6)Increase the length to however long you think it'll be, then start recording.
