I was wondering something and if any of you have thoughts about something like this in your own situations. I'm 18 years old, 5'2 and weigh 109lbs. My best friend is 5'7, and weighs 125lbs (eats all she wants and doesnt gain a pound) yet she is a lot skinnier than I. We wear the same size jeans and clothes though! Is this illusion just because she is taller than me? I mean really her arms and legs are a lot skinnier than mine, and her stomach is a whole lot flatter than mine.
Basically, when I put on jeans or a certain type of shirt it can make me look pudgier than I really am, even if its just a t-shirt. Is this because im shorter and have a short torso and short legs? I'm not super skinny like my best friend, but I am averagely thin. (If anyone thinks I weigh 109 and am super skinny youre wrong because It's mostly just water and muscle loss due to an acute eating disorder...so i still have all my fat basically). Ok but anyway, anyone have an answer for this??

You're not fat. It's not like your a hippo trying to fit into a G string. Wear whatever you want, in 10 years, none of it will mean anything.

I'm short myself, but I think your problem is just that she's taller which probably makes her appear slimmer since she's more long.

Yeah, that's all it is. I know if I was a bit taller I probably wouldn't look at pudgy as I do..I try to wear heels at whatever special event comes up.

Yeah, it's because she's taller. It's kinda weird, though. o_O

its because youre shorter. im 5'7, 16 r old and weight 102lbs. just like your friend, i can eat whatever i want and not gain anything. (which i think is just bad. ive tried for years just to become 110.) however, my legs are long, so i have to buy long legged jeans.
