I assume that uninstalling and then reinstalling my itunes will make it open again, since trying to repair it didn't work, but I'm a little concerned that I might lose my library, or at least the extra info, like the play counts and stuff. If I uninstall itunes, will I lose all of that? Like, will it take these (picutred below) files with it? Or even if it doesn't, do I have to put them back in manually?

Not entirely sure I'm making sense, but basically, what exactly will I have to do if I reinstall itunes?

Reinstalling won't delete any files, save for the iTunes program files. If your music library is in the default location, everything, including metadata (play counts, ratings, etc.) should remain intact.

no, it shouldnt. plus, you can just back it up by saving it on your comp just in case.

also, on itunes, you should be able to sign in and out. so once you sign in, your music and everything should all be there. =]

That only applies to the iTunes Music Store—but even that doesn't allow you to recover lost music (unless the policy has changed very recently).

^I don't think it has.

Ok, thanks. That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure before I did it, because having to replace 1900 songs would really suck.
