OGT stands for Ohio Graduation Test which the 10th graders have to complete this week. It sucks for us freshman (9th) because we have to take practice[i] OGT's while the Juniors and Seniors get to come into school two hours later!

Is anybody else taking this test? OR some type of state test?
Just Wondering.

hmm since i go to a catholic private school, we don't have to take those state tests, but then we have to take the regents.

California High School Exit Exam is next week

not worried...looked at practice tests and it looks like it's harder to fail than pass.

Wow! A fellow Ohioian (however you spell it). Yes I'm a freshmen and we had to take practice OGT's this year. We did better than tenth graders in some subjects. Ironic, eh? The seniors dont have to come in until 5th period in my school.

Same here for those sophomores at my school.

I have heard that it is tested on 8th grade math and some middle school level English.

no I don't think so. Maybe we have one for the state of Texas, but it's something I've never heard of.

I have Georgia High School Graduation testing this week, and today's was about the easiest f**king thing I've ever taken

Find the mistake in this sentence: "We was running when he came by"

WE WAS RUNNING???!

There was a questiion describing someone holdng a stethoscope, and you had to decide whether they were a physician, secretary, teenager, or something else. Ugh. All the analysis was wrong, too. The Sylvia Plath passage was NOT about her being a volunteer, dammit!! hammer.gif

Our other grades don't get to come in late, though. Underclassmen have ot take practice tets, and seniors only can skip if 4 days won't completely skrew over their record.
