Nooo.. it's a huge relief. Like, yay they finally know! Then you just wait and see what they do about it. Or you can talk to them about to see what their feelings are. That's part of the reason i tell, because i can't stand not knowing how they feel.

maybe in grade 5 and 6 it was embarassing for the person to find out, coz there is less chances of you guys actually dating?

i dont know, but i'd want the person to know. get it out, talk to them. if it doesnt work, it doesnt work.

it sometimes depends. at times it's a "well they finally know" but of course, it sucks when they don't feel the same way.

It was pretty blush-worthy when I was in like in 4th grade or so. But, I'm older now and that guy knows now. It's a relief!

well recently someone i like found out i like them and it takes pressure off a little bit but it still makes me upset... and thats why i hate it

Sujectively, no. Like others mentioned, it's a bit of a relief. There's one major exception to that though - the "friends" factor. I've seen (and been a part of) friendships that have ended because either person found out the other "liked" them.

i think its fine. i like everybody knowing who i like, cause then if the guy i like likes me back too, BAM. match. :)

I absolutely hate it. My friend just went right up to him and told him, so now I'm all pissed at her. Dude, I was like crying. Seriously. lol i hate it when they found out! but after they do, then again, you feel a burden off your shoulders...it`s also a relief.
it sucks sometimes though, cuz sometimes when you are with that guy, you feel uncomfortable knowing that he knows you like him.
it also sucks when he knows you like him but he only likes you as a freaking friend.

no actually. i remember when i used to freak out when my friend told the guy i liked him and i woould be embarrassed..blahblah..and it was b/c i had low self confidence

now i just dont care...but it depends on the guy too..like freshman year of H.S. i had a HUGE crush on this really hot guy that a bunch of other girls were swooning over too. but he was a huge a-hole..and i was pathetically stalking/asking about him..(heh yeah) one of my "friends" was his friend and told him..and she told him how pathetic and obsessed i was over him.. and he was such an a-hole about it he would tease me and be mean to me and such...and like..if he had garbage he didnt want he would just shove it at me =\ so yeah

he was mean..but its now senior year of H.S. alot has changed and i no longer care if guys find out

sometimes. if the guy likes me back then it's all good. but if he doesn't like me back at all, then it's downright embarassing.

OMG! Before my bf and I dated...he gave me such a hard time to tell him I like him! @_@;; EVERYDAY he would ask me if there was something he needed to know! So yes, I don't like it when they find out from someone else! I'd rather tell them myself...although that would never happen unless I'm confident they like me back! :P
