[Havn't seen it, but it looks awful. Plus, romantic comedies aren't exactly to my taste. I rated it to my interest. I don't know if we should do that or not, but somehow, I don't think this will move fast otherwise. Watch, it's gonna happen again.]

The Seventh Seal
voguelove
^ havent seen it. id give it a 6.6. i looked up reviews on google. =]
phantom of the opera.
NoSex
7/10
(Check it out sometime, it's one of my favorites.)
[Since the image is broken, I could not figure what version this was. This is troublesome as The Phantom of the Opera is one of the most remade and revisited films of all time. Here, I rated the 1925 Hollywood original.]

Eraserhead.

voguelove
^haha, oh well. i was talking about the new one from 2004.

again, i havent seen it. but i looked up reviews and id probably give it a 7.7

[Again. Not my cup of tea. pinch.gif
But, since we're rolling in romances, I'll throw one out I do like... ]

The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.
Jane Doe.
Pfft. If there were ever someone I'd want to make me a list of Movies To See and Obsess about, it'd be you.
I've never seen that movie. Damnit.

Spirited Away

7/10

[Not bad, but I prefer Kiki's Delivery Service! Heh heh.]

[Also, I have to rate Taegukgi hwinalrimyeo, just because it is such a stunning War film. And, it's great to see a Korean perspective on the Korean War. Now, I love the action sequences. They were amazingly shot. I also loved the visual experience and dialouge during battle. Just, very good stuff. However, I couldn't stand the brotherly love. Too much for me. It became cheesy, unrealistic, and overplayed fast. However, because of how wonderful the film looked, I could stand it. I would give it a 6.75/10]

Peeping Tom.
Blow_Don't_SUCK
I give it a 0/10 because I've never seen it tongue.gif

the Joy Luck Club (you look it up, INSOLENT FOOL!)
NoSex
3/10

[My mom loves that movie. _dry.gif ]

Dead Alive.
(For those ready to judge it early, are you a fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy? Yeah, well this is what your hero Peter Jackson was busy with before he started sucking hollywood pole.)
Blow_Don't_SUCK
oh i've seen that one! 8/10

hm I like Joy luck club! only mother-like chick flick film i love!

Shrek! (yes we can be kids)

2/10

(Another Horror gem from our friend Peter Jackson. His first feature film. It's about space aliens that invade a small New Zealand town and kidnap all it's inhabitants in order to supply fresh meat for their new intergalactic fast food chain. Yeah, awesome. I know.)
Bad Taste.
Zatanna
^ 8, Good camp.

Army of Darkness throb.gif
NoSex

[Better Camp. Heh heh. However, out of the trilogy, I prefer the original.]

Gummo.
chaneun
I've never heard of it. But it looks like a 6/10.

NoSex

[I have a particular dislike for Barney.]

Dario Argento's Suspiria.
Blow_Don't_SUCK
My teacher let us watch that in school on a free day biggrin.gif I liked it though I was confused and lost because the immature kids were making noises and throwing stuff in the air _dry.gif

6.9/10

Amalie (LOOK IT UP)
chaneun
I've heard of it, but I haven't watched it. I don't plan on it either. :D
So um, 3/10.

Blow_Don't_SUCK
Holy shit I saw that movie, f**king god damn

5/10

I keed I didn't see that movie...0/10

AMALIE!
NoSex
8.75/10

[I presume you mean Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain or The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain AKA Amelie. A delightful french film. Check out A Very Long Engagement for much of the same.]

[I desire to rate A Tale of Two Sisters, as I adore that film. I give it a 7.75/10]

(Now for my movie... Hmmm.)
Brazil.

[P.S. I can't believe your teacher let you watch Suspiria. It gets pretty gory at times. I mean, that chick kind of just hangs out in that pool of barbed wire for quite some time?!]
chaneun
^You watch so many movies :O

I've never seen it. haha. So, 7/10.

Do you mind if I call you Nate?
You make up like.. half of the posts in this thread. haha
NoSex
^I love film. I want to work in film one day. Hopefully writing and directing original work. So, watching film isn't just entertainment for me, it's preparation for a futrue career/hobby. It's nearly a case study. Yes. I do watch alot of movies. laugh.gif

5/10
[As many movies as I watch, I miss out alot of times on the newer stuff. So much more old stay still waiting to be watched, heh heh. So, unfortunately I missed this one. I rated it to my interest. Also, it's weighted because I'm not much a Spielberg guy. I'll take some 70's Spielberg though. Give me Jaws or Close Encounters of the Third Kind and I'm good. New Spielberg, not very exciting for me.]

(Since we have been strong on the Asian cinema here...)

Uzumaki.
chaneun
^I haven't heard of it, but the cover reminds me of the Guinea Pig Series. [which I'm even too scared to google image it]

NoSex
^ Ahhh ha! The Guinea Pig Series is rediculous! Uzumaki is definately alot better than anything I have seen out of any Guinea Pig stuff. Although, they can be entertaining. Heh heh. I saw a Guinea Pig box set at Best Buy and nearly died laughing. laugh.gif

9/10

[One of the most impressive directorial debuts in recent memory. Richard Kelly really pulled out all the stops. A great movie with a not so great director's cut. I rated the original. I don't know though, I might be biased. I would give the director's cut a 7.75/10. Lets see if Richard Kelly can do it again, he has alot of pending projects, including that feature length remake of the "Box" classic Twilight Zone episode. My bet is he's going to fall over himself on his next work. Lucky guy.]

The Blair Witch Project.
chaneun
^Haha, that movie gives me bad memories. When I was in like.. 3rd grade, I had satellite TV, and they usually show you the first 5 minutes of each movie. One of them was called something else that sounded similar to the Blair Witch Project, I forget the title, but it was some porno. D:

Anyway, I didn't really like that movie. 4/10

I forgot to put up a movie
