in my openion....both of them are good...Animes have sound effects and have voice actors...however, in mangas, we have to read their scripts....but some mangas that have been created to anime has either changed the story or have limited episodes...so it's always better to read the manga for the full EXACT story that the author created...

I love both, but I prefer manga. I guess, just because I like reading more than watching. I feel mangas have more detail.

if the anime stays true to the manga and has good voice acting then imo it is superior to manga

I'd prefer Mangas over Animes. Sometimes in Animes they change up the plot a bit and it irritates me because, WTF?! &^%@#. I hate it when it's all different and shit from the manga. Also, in animes, they usually have some stupid ass voices and sometimes they're annoying. Also, the graphics could be poorly created and therefore, I would prefer manga. Manga, you can think of how you want the voice with your imagination, and it's sort of like a film that's running in your head, but it's not running on screen. So, mangas > anime.

I like them both the same it's just some anime is better in manga and some is better in the anime. I prefer reading the Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya because I don't really like the voices especially in English. But like FMA I like the show better because I'm not a huge fan of the art in the manga

I never liked reading manga, but if it still hasn't come out on anime, I would have to force myself to read the manga haha.
The only MANGA I really liked was "WISH"
The one that my boyfriend introduced me to.
I can't believe they are both men who like each other...
But in the manga, came out as a girl for the angel part.

I prefer manga. But if the anime is good enough and actually follows the manga, they tie.

I prefer manga, because it goes more in depth of the storyline than usual anime's do. I LOVE certain styles of drawings, which are totally ruined when they are transferred into anime. However, I love the music and voice acting in some animes, which the manga lack. =P

I personally like Anime and Manga equally. Manga is very nice to read because of the art and stuff and Anime is great, too, because you get to see the Manga be brought to life. Plus, the voice actors does some really great job voice acting and bringing life to the characters.
So yeah

I don't even know the difference between those two...

Manga is a book which originated from Japan and you read it from right-to-left and has very artistic graphics. It's like comics.
Anime is a show which are based on the mangas. In other words, the story in the manga is brought to life by voice actors.
