i noticed there was never a season 3 discussion so im making one. =] and plus, i searched around and didnt find a season 3 post.

i loveee this show. i didnt really watch the first season up until the last few episodes. i thought claire looked really gorgeous on last weeks episode. (where aaron, the baby got sick and she had to go back to where she was kidnapped.) oh, and also..im really hoping that sun is pregnant. that'd be cool.

Ooo, thanks for making this thread! I love Lost. Yes, Claire looked beautiful this week. Sort of a convulated episode though so I'm going to rewatch it this weekend. Ethan creeped me out, as usual. No Charlie though. :( I have to say I hate the the direction his character is going in. And what is up with Kate this season? She was such a spit fire during season 1. (And when will she kiss Jack again? :P )

YO! Lost is a great show! Do you guys think that the new guy is an OTHER? I do. When Eko cut of his beard, I was instantly reminded to when Kate found the fake beard eariler in the episode. I think Eko was trying to say that although you took off your beard, I still recognize you. Plus, after Sayid tortured him, he gave Sayid an look that seemed to say "Haha, You can't prove I'm an other". DO you guys post at Lost-Forums? DF!

no. that new guy isnt an other. i went onto this lost season spoiler on this lost site where you can download the show legally and free and it said that he is telling the truth. not to mention, when michael and jin crashed on the other side of the island, the footage showed the actual hot air balloon crash. gah, id show the pictures for evidence, but for some reason, that site is down. ill have to post the pics later.

doubt this is true, if the whole lost-forum is debating about this, someone other than you is bound to have seen this clip. or maybe the clip you saw was not real.



maybe the others found the hot air balloon before that and decided that could be a good excuse. but i dont know about that because if i was really dude and i was being questioned, i would be like "yo i could show you the balloon if you want". or maybe, the first others landed in a hot air balloon.

^ I'm not convinced his *not* an other either. The guy didn't seem at all emotional when talking about burying his wife (for example). And Eko isn't the type to just casually check out the hostage. I think he'd rather see the guy break down. Also, if they were convinced, he wouldn't still be locked up.

Speaking of Locke - what the heck is up with him?

heck, yes. but i would say that you may not get it if you start watching it now. if youve missed the first season, youve missed basically the whole point of the show.

no..its the hot air balloon. and thats from THIS season. some of the people wanted to know if that new guy was an other and thats evidence that hes not. his hot air balloon story was true. and that picture is from only season 2.

i don't think so. the 'others' could have easily found that hot air balloon and used it as an excuse. for example, if i told my teacher that my dog ate my homework and then showed her my dog, that does not mean my dog actually ate my homework. another explanation might be that the "others" originated from that hot air balloon, that is how they got to the island.

^ I don't doubt people are telling the truth. ;) I see the red circles, but I didn't see anything suspicious contained within. (I admit my eyes seriously need to be checked though).

I've been watching JJ Abrams shows for years and he always throws a monkey wrench in his plotlines. I'll be surprised and not surprised regardless (if that makes sense).

Any thoughts on the next death? Who will die next, that is. Folks I talk to seem to think it's Charlie (which would totally bum me out, to say the least). I thought Charlie and Claire were adorable and he just went all Anakin Skywalker. So perhaps a little storyline martyrdom?

I'm being dead serious. It was in the first season when Claire went missing with this mystery Ethan. Charlie kept going after them and Ethan found him and, well, hung him from a tree. When Jack+Kate found him, they got him down and Jack did CPR, but it didn't work, jack turned away for a sec and then BAM! Charlie was alive.

I think the new guy...henry somthing?.. is an other. When Eko cut his beard, I think he did it to symbolize him cutting off part of his past. To show him that he's on a righteous path again. But yeah.

Oh and Kristinaa - I'm not so sure Charlie is "crazy." Wishful thinking perhaps (admitingly I'm a Charlieholic), but it might be too obvious. In fact, I think it's unfair that other people can have "visions" (what the hell was up with the Black Stallion on the island for Kate, Jack saw his dead pop, Locke's vision indirectly caused Boone's death, etc) but the druggie sees something and he's "crazy." I think even Eko saw a little of truth in Charlie's visions. Yeah, snaggin the youngling and going for a mid evening swim wasn't necessarily a normal thing to do, but what *is* on that crazy island.

JJ Abrams has said on a number of ocassions that he has no intention of killing Ana Lucia. Also, he had planned on killing off Boone in season 1 and Shannon in season 2. Not sure why, but eh, that's why he makes the big bucks and I drive a Toyota Tacoma. :P

I felt pretty bad for Maggie Grace (Shannon). She had just bought a house in Hawaii (where they film) and found out that she was getting killed the day she got the script. It is also rumored that she turned down the part of Kitty Pryde in the XMen 3 film so that she could focus on Lost. Oops.

according to ABC, boone/ian is getting his own show...on ABC. but they said that last year, maybe theyre not doing it anymore.

Yep. I feel bad for the guy. He's always getting killed. He had a stint on Smallville (rumored to have been the wannabe "Bruce Wayne" role, but since Batman Begins was coming out, it was nixed and his character's name ended up being "Adam Knight") and of course, he died. He was also in the film "Rules of Attraction" where he played a gay guy (a very gorgeous gay guy). We always joke about his name, Ian Somerhalder to Ian Smoldering.
