In the early 1900s, E.M. Forster wrote a book about a man who realized he was gay. They used to call being gay OSCAR WILDE SORT. Oscar Wilde lost his reputation and fame for having an illicit affair with a man belonging to London society. Forster made sure his book, Maurice, would only be published after his death. It's a love story really, sweet, touching and extraordinary.
