In the report though, it says that it's drinking its milk pretty good... At least I'm pretty sure. My understanding of Japanese is a bit rusty now...

I think it's sad how the baby can't even see, let alone live a normal happy life.
That sort of makes me think of how lucky we are to be able to live one without any big disablities/birth defects.

Heh, same here, except I stayed on the page to read about it. I still didn't watch the video, though.
I think it's very sad, but it's a good thing that they don't last very long, because living with a disease like that would be awfully hard. =[

although 300,000 is a lot, 1 and 300,000 people are born with it which doesnt make it very rare especially considering how many people there are in the world.

I agree, but it makes me really sad to think about that

. I mean, it is a child, born just like we were, only... different. I know it wouldn't have a very happy life and I'm sure its better for it not to live, but still.
