do you think the chicken came first or the egg?

i personally think the egg came first, from some sort of other animal and it hatched into a chicken.

because the chicken can not just get borned out of nothing.

so maybe some two genes mixed and then egg appeared. what do you people think?

I say eggs because maybe from all the fossils and particles of the dirt, they slowly combined together gradually. Each piece by piece, day by day, moisture and other substances made these pieces fit together like a puzzle. Slowly it finally became the egg. From it, a chick hatched and as years evolved, it grew to give us joy and fulfill hunger (in my stomach). The end.

It could have evolved from some other animal, but it still woulda came outta the egg.

Anyways, my two cents.. 1. this topic does not specify which kind of egg, so... by that reason, the egg must have come first, because there were organisms before the chicken, like the dinosaurs, and they layed eggs, so thus, the egg was first.. BUT
2. if we're specifically talking about a chicken egg here, the chicken must have come first, evolved as a mutation of some other organism, but it'd still hatch out of an egg, just not a chicken egg, but the egg of whatever organism came before..

I know it doesnt, thats why i'm saying the chicken came before the chicken egg (if thats what we're debating), but eggs in general came before the chicken.. i mean.. c'mon, you cant say that chickens came before dinosaur eggs
