I was thinking we could have a marquee that appears on the top of each page that displays messages like updates, news, bug reports, shoutouts, birthdays, stuff like that. It would be kind of handy and the HTML isn't very tough either, right? Just a suggestion.

oh you mean the thing like Christina ([2]nekked) has on her forums on cliqueMB.com, yeah I guess that could be an improvement, but it's not necessarily needed. I think we need a vote on this. or not a vote, just some members opinions and feedbacks, maybe.

I personally think it might be information overload, and make the overall layout a bit too cluttered. There's a lot going on with it right now as it is.

I agree because we already have topic indicators telling who last posted in a forum, and it gives the topic.

Hmm.. Well, I just meant like a one liner thing, not like a huge big coloful font thing. With a few links in there, so new people or bored people could just click and find something to do.

I kind of think that's a bit over the top, though--and besides, I don't really like marquees in general. I don't like thing scrolling across my screen.

I think if CB wanted MB it wouldn't be using invision. CB is pretty clear on updates and such.

I think it's a little too distracting to have a marquee in the top of the page. And I don't think it would go with the current CB layout because it just wouldn't. There's already an announcements forum.
