Definition

Some people get confused or don't really know the complete definition for "Anime" or "Otaku" is. So here are the definitions to help you out!

Anime: a style of animation originating in Japan. It is sometimes referred to by the portmanteau Japanimation. Anime is characterized by stark, colorful graphics and stylized, colorful images depicting vibrant characters in a variety of different settings and story-lines, aimed at a wide range of audiences. Anime may be broadcast on television, distributed on media such as DVDs or published as console and computer games. Anime is usually influenced by Japanese comics known as manga.


Otaku: a variety of geek (or an overly obsessed fanboy / fangirl) specializing in anime and manga.

Is it pathetic that I'm bummed out about my missing an Anime Club meeting at school last night?

^ if your just a regular member you don't have to attend every single meeting that they have... The anime club I led had meetings but it was only mandatory for certain people. But of course I don't know how college works and such... But of course you can just go ask a member on what they talked about.

Naomi remenber I told you TokyoPop sent me that thing with fruit baskets? I scanned like 4 pages but somehow I only got 2 actually to work. You know whats interesting though.. My friend does have the whole book 13... -__-;; he has every chapter in that darn book. Because he gets the raws from japan and translates them for friends. I'll ask him to upload it for me ^^

The font that I used was Georgia. I simply changed the size and style of it. And as for Sammy, it wasn't a subscription to Tokyopop the company. It was a subscription to their free manga magazine. I have one too
