laugh.gif So awesome. I wouldnt recommend seeing them live though.
I mean the first 2-3 times I saw them live, it was really good.
but now, schuylar is so drunk/high he doesnt sing, and if he does, its only a little bit of the song. He also changes the words around and dances around while passing the mic to the crowd. He also licked the guitarist last time I saw them.

I dont remember if I listed these... oh well

They were big in England first, so that might not be the best logic on that one.

I don't understand why you get all the good concerts (and can find people who like your music enough to go with). I WANT TO GOOOOOOO!!

Hoorayyy.

Apparently, the most current album from the Arctic Monkeys was #24 on US charts, which is the highest any indie band has ever been in the US. They're a good band, I just don't see the big attraction, really.

Not everything over here in the Midwest is good, Nicki.
Fall Out Boy was the worst thing to ever happen to Chicago. sad.gif

It's just that Chicago's a huge city, like, one of the central four needing to be hit up by tours (New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas), so people will always come here.

I wish I could go to Coachella, but that's so far away...

I would be going to all days of Lolla, but my grandma just HAS to come that weekend. stubborn.gif I hate my grandma. She's the old Jewish lady from Long Island who now lives in West Palm Beach. The perfect stereotype. All she does when she comes is tell me how fat I am. Geh! And I have to miss such a perfect Lolla lineup for that?!
racoons > you
fi resent the fact that in order to see the academy is, i have to buy fall out boy tickets.

hopefully the time will come when they can headline their own tour here.

to make this more topical, some people may enjoy Let Down, who are made up of a bucnh of guys who graduated from my school last year.

Ugh. Fall Out Boy. Ick.

It's not that no one comes to Atlanta, I'm just not friends with too many people who share my musical tatses. We don't really get any decent festivals, though. The best we had was Music Midtown, which was just mediocre, and that's been cancelled now. SXSW made me wish I lived in Texas.

I'm probably going to Chicago next spring (so see, James, there must be things there other than, you know, "that big tower thing")

hmm. im trying to debate whther or not to buy fall out boy tickets and leave after the academy is are done. but the only way people wil go with me is if i adrag the fallout boy fans.

in which case, im dressing up as an emo kid. black hair dye, eyeliner, skinny jeans and all.

i enjoy the arctic monkeys. but mostly just because they remind me SOOO much of the libertines. like, it's almost wrong how much alike they sound to me. and, i dig the libertines. because they make me happy.

as for artists no one has ever heard of, i can't say i like all that many. i don't keep score on who is known more than who. but, i do know that i am in love with a band that VERY few people know of. of course, they are no longer a band. but, they were plow monday. a few years ago, they were big on this website called alternative addiction or something. i fell in love then. and then they disappeared. i ended up emailing the singer/songwriter and having him send me a burned cd of their songs. for free. it's amazing. he's one of my heroes.

I don't like Babyshambles.

I don't wear jeans that tight, but actually I guess I do to an extent, because I buy them too small because they stretch out over the course of a coupole of hours sitting down. I think I move around too much. But I'll buy a perfect fitting pair of jeans and far too quickly they'll be giant on me. It's absolutely ridiculous.
