_sarcastic_
it depends if you want to or not
but i think you should, i mean better tell him than let him find out somewhere else right?
but maybe he was the one that has mono to start out with, isn't it usually transmitted by kissing?
ecargnmyst
yeahh..i think u got mono from him..so maybe he doesnt know he has it..so u should prolly tell him before it gets transmitted to more ppl..
2 ppl got mono at my school..but i have no idea what happened afterwards..=\ sry wish i could help more

i had this whole mono epidemic at my school not a long time ago... this one group of friends basically gave it to each other. you should just tell the guy cuz if he has it, then he needs to take care of it [and anyone else that potentially has it]. mono can make you extremely tired and have other not so great side-effects. dont share any drinks or chapstick or anything like that for a while too. as for the whole "not wanting to kiss you again" - dont worry about it... that whole group of friends i was talking about still kiss people.. just didnt while they had mono lol. so, he wont wanna kiss you now, but if he really likes you he might in the future. get better soon!

Tell him. "Hey I might have mono so I'm looking out for you and telling you you should watch out for it and treat it."

Or something.

Yes, you should definitely tell him. It's the most responsible thing to do.

mono is known as the "kissing disease." the symptoms are:
QUOTE
Fever - this varies from mild to severe, but is seen in nearly all cases.
Enlarged and tender lymph nodes - particularly the posterior cervical lymph nodes, on both sides of the neck.
Sore throat (throat infection) - nearly all patients with EBV-mononucleosis have symptoms similar to tonsillitis.
Fatigue (sometimes extreme fatigue)
you can learn more about it here

i think you should definately tell him. he might not know that he has it if he does have it. you can pass it to people through coughing and sneezing, not just kissing.

It's selfish if you don't tell them.

you should tell..

You should tell him; he has the right to know.

Honesty is the best policy. Cue him in. wink.gif

You certainly must tell him, or he'll be really weirded out by finding it out from someone else. Seriously, it's better if you just tell him so you don't spread it to him. You don't want to be giving this to people; it lasts for on average 6 weeks and you feel crappy the whole time.

i think you should tell him, but you never know..he might be the one who GAVE it to you in the first place. so, maybe you should suggest that he go get tested too wink.gif
